5 Star needs to be reviewed. The hotel could do so much more with what they have and improve the operations side of things. Definitely would not consider this hotel.

Beautiful place outside of the fray in the old city. Excellent pool and sea swimming. A tiny bit tired in some places but spacious rooms and nice facilities.

Hotel is looking a bit tired although I know it’s the end of the season . Activities are advertised but I only saw aqua aerobics take place once in the week we were there

the property is beautiful, the amenities were wonderful. food was overpriced and service was slow. For the price and the fact that this is a five star hotel service and food quality should have been better. also, the floor we stayed on smelled humid, like wet carpet.

Gray stay!

I can’t say enough good things. Lots of healthy options for food, green smoothies came with breakfast, great modern property set inside a cliff, nice views of the ocean from the lobby and rooms. I was extremely impressed by the staff and how service oriented they were. Also the amenities were amazing! So nice to use the gym and spa before boarding plane to go back home. Our stay was relaxing and memorable!

Swimming is excellent, walking distance to old town.

Disappointed with the hotel. Certainly not the standard of other Rixos hotels I have stayed at. Would not stay again.

This is an amazing hotel / resort with awesome facilities, great food and staff service. I couldn’t rate any better. It has private access to cliff jumping, the adriatic sea, many pools and wellness facilities and everything you will ever need!

The hotel is very large and on some areas, such as the pool area, the pool bar, and the sun beds. This isn’t really a fault, but worth knowing. Other areas always felt quiet such as the bar and lobby area, both of which were really nice to spend time in. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, and although busier later on in the morning, it was never a problem. There was a brilliant choice of food, and always tables free. Loads of staff were always clearing and cleaning, but coffee/tea (the only bit of breakfast they serve to you) was slow and inconsistent. This is clearly a very busy hotel, and in general maintenance was good. But things are starting to look tired in places which was a shame. For example, the corridors leading to rooms were heavily stained, the air conditioning unit in the corridor leaked, and the TV had very few English speaking channels that actually worked. We reported this last point, but it was never fixed. Some of the lights didn’t work in the room, and were never fixed. Finally, the room was always cleaned and tidied, but you didn’t have to look far to see areas such as skirting boards and ledges that were covered in thick layers of dust. The toilet had staining and the shower had thick layers of limescale. The towels were often thin and one had several holes. Sometimes things were provided (face cloths, facial tissues) and at other times they weren’t. Overall, the staff make this hotel, they were brilliant.

Amazing breakfast!

Perfect property for wrapping up our Croatian holiday.

The hotel is located right on the beach you just have to walk down the steps and you’re in beautiful waters of the Adriatic Sea. The pool is also great right temperature extremely clean. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot of variety of eggs and fruit and juices Seafood at the seafood restaurant on the terrace is awesome Will definitely come back Real easy

It is a nice hotel. Don’t get me wrong, but for $700 USD a night it is NOT worth it. There is no check for who can come onto the patio and pool or the spa, we had 20 local kids playing chicken in the pool and cliff jumping off the patio after an hour the staff told them to leave. We went into the hyped spa and it smelled so strong of sour mildew right when you walked into the spa reception. It was nearly unbearable. It got a bit better as you went into the sauna and shower rooms. Also, we had locals that were asking to hitch rides up in the elevator to the street level. It didn’t feel exclusive at all. Just over priced. The room was a good size, but the down pillows must have been wet because they smelled like wet dog and the breaker for our room must have been tripped because we had no outlets that worked!. If we paid $300 a night I wouldn’t be writing this review - but it is just marketed as exclusive and luxury and it isn’t. On a positive we had an early checkout and they did provide us with a to-go breakfast.

I loved my sunrise swim in the ocean straight off the pool deck! I'm not normally a hotel person, preferring B&B's or nature, but I am so glad my son convinced me to book Rixos Dubrovnik. We are returning home relaxed and feeling like we've been well taken care of.

Overall unbelievable experience at this hotel. Staff were very kind and extremely accommodating. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean. Breakfast was extravagant. You can pretty much spend days at the hotel itself.

Incredible stay at the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik. Astounding staff and magnificent views. Karlo, front desk staff was incredibly helpful when planning out our days in Dubrovnik. Highly recommend!

The hotel is outdated and needs renovation. The pool and loungers are always crowded, and the food is overpriced for what you get. Overall, it falls short of expectations.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Great room with lovely views

Overall it was a lovely stay, however for the price I was underwhelmed. The three key aspects were: 1. service at reception/ room service 2. quality of the room cleans/ new towels 3. service in the bar (some staff were amazing but let down by others) 1. The service was very friendly, however, whenever we called for something, they would say yes but often passed off the task to someone else I.e. room service who didn’t feel it was their job. I had to call reception four times and visit once to be told they couldn’t give us almond milk after being told it was on it way 4 times. 2. The room cleans were disappointing, having to ask for fresh towels each time we needed them (even when they were clearly dirty and left on the floor to indicate so). Also a clear lack of general cleaning of the room during the week. 3. Some of the waiting staff were amazing and friendly but the number of times I wouldn’t receive my drink or have to wait over 30 minutes was very frustrating. The service staff handled this very well, but it kept on happening

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Just beware that it’s big and busy. Unless you retire to your room you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of the main tourist beat!

Staff was amazing and accommodating. Great location and short walk to Old Town. You can also take a bus if you didn’t want to walk. The food was amazing. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I have experienced. Beautiful location.

We will be back! 10/10
