StGreat location and incredible staff

Rarely write reviews but this one deserves one. Poorly kept and ugly hotel, no refurbishing has been made here for years! Bathroom door lock did not reopen from inside. Paint falling off facade. Banana coloured interior. TV in room was unlogically placed in front of a simple chair, no couch. Sea view was in reality a view of a roof top with pigeons and lots of guano, forcing us to keep windows closed which was a big problem because the rooms ventilation system was seriously oversprayed with a horrible perfume (probably to cover other smells from old carpets etc) that made us sick. Had to keep AC off. Also note they charge almost 15 euro for old sunbeds + extra for towels. Parking is limited and charge is 20 euro per day.

Beautiful location on the waterfront. We had a ocean view room that very nice. Breakfast was very good on the veranda overlooking the sea. Pool was a saltwater indoor pool and the “beach” was a patio over the sea wall. Hotel was on the boardwalk so we could walk up and down the area to see the sites and get to shopping and restaurants. The room A/C kept going out and failed to cool the room consistently. The hotel was right on the road and their was no convenient area to stop and unload the car, had to pull up on the sidewalk. Parking was in a nearby parking garage. Overall nice hotel in a beautiful area.

As requested, we had a top floor room, 607, and we found this to be extremely comfortable with fantastic views. The half board meals were excellent, both in quality an quantity with plenty of choices.

property was ok but bathroom very small no room to turn around 'disappointing ' the rest of the room was fine no problem. the place its self is lovely be great for a short weekend or a 5 day stay because opajika is only a small little town. overall rating 7.5 out of 10

Everything was great with the exception of the water temperature at the beach in front of the hotel. There are number of cold underwater springs in the area and the water temperature, as result, is colder than you would expect. The recopy is simple - walk 300 meters to the left. There is a great public beach over-there and the water is warmer. Otherwise absolutely great hotel with mostly excellent staff.

At one end of the main boardwalk. Lucked out with parking out front. Not exactly a grand old villa but nice ocean views. Great breakfast buffet on lovely view terrace.

It was located with good access to the town, shops and restaurants.Unfortunately the rooms air-conditioning did not work despite being informed that it would be switched on when reported. We could open the windows which made it comfortable for sleeping.The breakfast was decent with a variety. Parking was available at the hotel for 75 Kunas. This should have been made clear instead of the Self Parking description which was open to interpretation.

A weekend in Opatija. Went there to walk the lungomare. I was disappointed with the hotel because they didn't give me the room I had selected with my online booking.

Nice hotel with its own beach. Good for vacation.

Nice location. Great breakfast & dinner dining on the terrace overlooking the bay.Air conditioner was weak. Shower was awkward to use due to tap location.Housekeeping staff was excellent. Only the waitress on terrace at evening had a sharp attitude. She needs service training quickly.

Nice hotel with great buffet breakfast and dinner

Enjoyed our five days at this hotel and were able to experience and get the feel of Opatija

Liked the location. The breakfast was excellent and the amenities were excellent. Parking an issue and we needed to park in a public parking garage.

We found the room to warm to sleep comfortably at night and left window open to cool the room. Reception told us the whole hotel is set centrally so its all the same, at the time we stayed it was about 24c for May. If your room faces the sun you get warm. Otherwise it was pretty good value.

The gardens in the area are nice. On the water and near the shopping and restruants. I didn't want to leave my parking spot because I would have had to pull out and block traffic to lock the spot and the same when I return. There was no wi-fi in the room, only in the lobby.

On the riviera strip of Opatija This hotel is well located, the rooms are a good size, the bathroom was a bit small. Our room overlooked the sea with a lovely breeze. The aircon was very noisy so having the window open was good. Great cafes and good for walking. No parking available but a garage nearby for 100 kuna a day with multiple exits/entries was easy. Very good price on Expedia for room. Pillows were lumpy and I asked for comfort pillows but staff didn't know about that option even though card in room.
