I've stayed here a few times years ago under different ownership.
I ignored the newer reviews...
I typed out a very lengthy review and decided to delete it and keep it short.
I originally booked and paid for 2 nights. I stayed for 1 night.
Staff was friendly.
The restaurant/bar is no longer in the building.
The chinese buffet is still there... but ya...
I think they're trying to save on hydro because the front lobby is dark without lighting.
Rooms ac would randomly turn off giving an error, reset it to get it going again.
They have alot of tenant style people living in the motel. Some of which i know to be known drug addicts.
I was unable to get a good nights sleep. Woken up a few times to people outside the window in the parking lot. Concerned for my truck.
Morning after the 1st night i went to have a shower, whoever cleans the bathroom didn't do a good job, long hair in the sink, in the bathtub, on the walls.... i have very short hair.
Again, i was booked and paid for 2 nights, i stayed for 1 and then ended up spending more money to stay in a more reputable place.
Nothing against the staff or new owner, but it's not the same experience i knew about from years prior.
I recommend to pay the extra money and stay somewhere else, unless you truly can't afford the extra cost.
There is restaurants and a grocery store near by. If that helps anyone.

Overall wasn’t too bad. Some outlets haven’t worked, but room was spacious and clean. The owners probably not far out looking for a bit of renovations. But since we’re had to stay just for one night, it wasn’t too bad. Three star would be good enough to rate this place.

Price was good. I didn't like how you couldn't use front entrance after hours. I also didn't like not having a alarm clock or any phone for a wake up call.

The bed was wonderful and it had a fridge and a microwave.
Some small things would have made it better .There was no kleenex in the room, only one garbrge can, there was no cream rinse .The amenities that are normal in the bathroom were not there.The ice bucket did not have a bag in it and was dirty.The tv was not able to be shut oof by the remote .Small things easily fixed that would have increased my rating. My stay there was enjoyable

Clean comfortable room at a great price. Coffee was good and there were restaurants in the area to eat at .

Unwelcoming lobby. Dirty building and room. Breakfast was keurig coffee and a pack of muffins in a fridge (with only 2 left and there was 4 of us). Thankfully tim hortons was just around the corner. Trying to check out at 845am and there was no one there to help. Rang bell, waited... then called the phone number which it went to voicemail. Finally someone came out from the room behind desk which is where he had been sleeping. All in all will definitely not stay there again.

Last minute room on a road trip. Quickly helped and generous upgrading of room as it was late and the front desk staff wanted us to be comfortable after travelling so long

The greeting staff when we arrive were VERY good!
Very nice, led us to your room, opened our door for us.
Continental breakfast :
1. Was a loaf of bread, toaster, and inside a bar fridge jams or a muffin. Store bought muffins, the must have been good for it was empty every time we checked. :)
1. Coffee - Coffee machine where you could make your own coffee. Sugar was in a med plastic container with a lid, but there where two coffee spoons from a previous person with coffee on them left in sugar. ULG...
With COVID and general hygiene... I decided not to have coffee.
I also noticed the motel was very nice to accommodate, people with lower incomes to help support their business, for they where sitting outside the front door of the motel.
Overall the checking was great due to staff, bed sheets were nice clean white sheets .
COVID has made it hard for a lot of businesses...

Interesting part of town and not close to anything. The facility was average with very helpful staff. The room itself was clean but dated and run down. Lots of channels on the TV though !

My room was quiet and the location was convenient. The place has a very run down look and feel to it. Plexiglass exterior doors, muzzy carpets, no housekeeping and cigarette butts and garbage at the entrances. I should say that the same garbage and butts were there for the three days that I stayed. Clearly the staff don't care enough to run a broom around to keep the front entrance looking inviting.

Long story short.....
I had a dog as I booked through the app I thought I would deal with it at the hotel we got in very late as we were just passing through and needed a quick rest
The man at the counter questioned me about having 4 adults I corrected him and said no I have 2 adults 2 kids, he asked about the dog and I gladly paid the 29 dollar fee.
He then told me to go grab my stuff he would get the room key and meet me there he had to "make sure the room was ready"
This was at 1am, he then questioned me about my kids again, said I called earlier in the day and asked about 4 adults.
He told me again to go get my stuff and he would come with me to the room to show me how to use the key. I told him I knew how to use a key but I would go with him to check it out
As we were walking down to the room he questioned me about my kids again. I told him my children were sleeping in the car.
I had also asked about a closer door to my room to enter the hotel and he said the closest one was right in the front where his desk was which was false we passed a door walking to the room.
This was at 1 am we were exhausted and I just wanted to get my kids in there.
Lesson learned about the dog...and he gave me a lecture but please don't question me multiple times about my children and be sketchy about getting to the room

Arrived at 3 pm for check in room wasn’t ready waited 5 minutes and was told it was ready. When we went to use the bathroom a women’s bra was hanging over shower curtain was very concerning. Rest of the room seemed to be clean was very quiet and worth the value I paid.

1. The Motel was poorly managed. When we arrived, there was no person in the front desk, and we waited for long (half hour) for the "clerk" to come in.
2. There is no dining area. There was a dining room, but was all locked and no sign of "use".
3. In the morning, there is a coffee machine for use, but has nothings such as milk or equivalent.
4. Above all, there is "No Service" in house keeping service, such as changing bath tower and bed sheet! It is beyond our understanding that a motel has no house keeping service!
5. We strongly suggest people not to come to this motel, since it is not a "motel" but just a room to sleep in.

Enjoyed our stay at Lively Inn while we were visiting friends in the area. Staff were amazing and were able to accommodate any request for us while we were there. Very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for two days and would go back again. You can tell there is renovations going on in the property but that didn’t bother us at all as everyone was amazing here.

On arrival we were up sold to a newly renovated room for $20 cash which was very nice. The shower was fun as was the northern light feature over the bed. Make it yourself coffee was available in the lobby but required phone flashlight as lobby is very dark. Staff overly attentive. But polite. Gas station and Timmies close by.

The staff was amazing, very helpful and very friendly. 5 starts there. Love that they are dog friendly. The inn is ok, if your looking for luxury won’t find it here. I needed a place to sleep and that’s what I did. So if met my needs

Stains on the ceiling and floor. Sticky feeling floor. Broken window with no screen. Leaky bathroom fausset. Old stale smoker smell throughout building.

tiered like no updates been done in a long time. The rates were little high for the place.
However great service from staff.
