Gorgeous hotel downstairs, our bedroom was lovely and bright with a huge double shuttered window that opened out onto the garden and hill view. Our friends however had a split level room which dark & had a lot of wasted space in it so it did not have any chairs to on a the tv was where mirror should have been. It only had a very small window which didn’t open. Choose your room carefully. Hotel services could be much better it coffee machines were in rooms and a water/ice machine was available on each floor. You could buy water from the bar, however this was often unmanned so had to go to reception to ring for bar person to come down and then go back to bar to be served. It was pretty costly as well. There was only one staff member in bar area when it was manned. A bar menu was on display however nothing available except 2 types of focaccia . The bar lounge area was more of a meeting area rather than a social place to sit with friends. It was very tastefully decorated however sadly lacked any atmosphere. Hotel was ok and would be much more appealing if more services available.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Very nice pool area. But there are many shortcomings, in particular a very poor gym and wifi did not work at all. Also a quite low service level across the board.

Probably a very nice hotel back in the day. Now it looks dated, poor Aircondition, and very poor meny, no lunch servings other than toast. Looks like they are targeting senior citizens, as most of the guests were 65+ and came in large groups on busses.. Same person who serves in the bar, also do the massage and cleans... which you can taste in the drinks if you buy one.

Very enjoyable stay in an Edwardian style hotel. Staff were delightful and very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, but the bathroom was small. The shutters remain permanently closed which is a shame as there would have been a great view on Montecatini Alto. The surrounding environment is delightful.

I booked this hotel as a treat for my son and his wife to have a break from their home in lucca while we were visiting. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were very friendly. The only criticism would be the amount of sun beds available around the pool. This would not stop me from booking again.

The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well cared for.

It is a lovely hotel with a great location. We enjoyed walking from the hotel, nightly,. It’s proximity to the park is very nice also.

Hotel is a few mins walk from main square and Montecatini Centro train station. Understated elegant hotel, with lovely staff. Just back from a week there with some great weather and had the pool to ourselves most of the time we went. Very quiet location at night and dont hear any noise from the corridors. Only had breakfast but this is brilliant with the best coffee I have had in years. Highly recommend and I have stayed in quite a few hotels in the area. I will definitely be back to this one

Very nice and stylish hotel well located in quiet area but close to the center. The room was a bit small and the fact that the air conditioning was fonctioning a bit too well for us meaning that the room was getting too cold at night. I managed to switch off the AC for our room but not for the kids. What we particularly enjoyed was the breakfast and the service of the personnel at the breakfast. Nice fresh cappuccino prepared individually and a glass of prosecco were perfect ! Would highly recommend this hotel.We also enjoyed the quiet swimming pool. Few more sunbathing beds would be needed though.

Amazing customer service, very clean, gorgeous and unique interior. Super tasty breakfast.

We booked a deluxe room for 1 night, but they have us a standard by mistake. To make up for it they have us free chilled mineral water for our daytrip to Cinque Terre and a free upgrade from standards to deluxe for our two-day stay later the same week. Excellent place to stay, you feel truly welcome and appreciated.

There was an incedent on our second night which meant we got hardly any sleep...it was because the next door were arrested by the police at 2 am and they had guns and dogs and there was a lot of noise and when we asked the manager to move us as we had been upset he took no responsiblity and said it wasnt the hotels fault if guests were arrested by the police in the middle of the night.....it was really scary.We are pensioners an d didnt expect this..anyway after a heated discussion and my husband threatening to check out and 15 minutes of stress the manager after much negativity agreed to move us to a different floor. This was unacceptable he should have immediately moved us without argument and should have even compensated us..a bottle of wine would have done the trick! Apart from the lack of management the hotel was very nice and the pool was excellent.

The hotel, while it has a great exterior, was very, very dated - looks like it was renovated in the 70s - and not well. Cheap laminate floors and really ugly furnishings. Room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned since the 70s. Not a good experience overall!

Lovely, up to date facilities, accessible to centre. Take a lot of care in the upkeep of the hotel and standards very high
