Very classic European hotel in the oldest hotel in Split. Beautiful city and seems very safe

Stunning location, in the Diocletian palace, old town pedestrian district. Right by the Temple, which made for gorgeous courtyard dining options steps from the hotel. It’s the oldest hotel in Split, but had an elevator and modern rooms. Excellent staff who helped me with accessible access for my mom who has trouble with stairs. I had a wonderful cocktail on the terraced step dining of the hotel. I highly recommend this place.

Great location in Split, very convenient to everywhere, including airport busses and ferries. Did get a little noisy at night but that’s to be expected in that area.

Booked the hotel because it said memory foam beds so I was looking forward to a nice sleep. Very surprised when i went to sleep at night that there was no memory foam madrasses on any of the beds! Could not sleep due to pain of hard surface, and then by 5:30 in the morning the light started to shine in because the wodden thing outside the window did not block all the light and there where no blackeing curtains. I looked i to other rooms non had memory foam madrasses. i told the reception they said they take the soft madrasses away in summer because they are warm. I told then that is false advertising and really bad. ” (the rum had AC so chilly, only two blankers to three beds) thats the way it is here. No sorry, no nothing, just looking at me like i was stupid for complaining. Expected more of a 350 euro room.

The room and bathroom were very adequate size and very modern with a welcome air conditioning system. The location cannot be beat. The complementary breakfast is fantastic.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and my stay could not have a nicer. Although the configuration of the bathroom was rather quirky and awkward due to the building's century old design, the beautiful and spacious terrace off my room more than made up for that. Walking out of a really nice hotel into the midst of all the palace offered was almost surreal. A wonderful hotel in a most wonderful location

We only stayed one night during our last night before flying home. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a lovely, comfortable room. I appreciated how the hotel kept the historic features while maintaining a high level of comfort. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and inviting. Our room was very nice. The free breakfast in the mornings was nice, and the restaurant which is located in the same area served delicious meals. We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is very nice, recently renovated, great staff and breakfast. Extremely convenient in the old city. Ask about the ground floor elevator if you are traveling with baggage. It was a quiet room, great water pressure and excellent air comforting.

Highly recommend. Staff very helpful. I pre-arranged airport pickup. No one there to meet us. Called the hotel, going to send cab. Waited 2 hours from original pickup time.

Location was perfect in the old town, convenient to everywhere but very quiet. Staff was helpful and kind. Love the cat who lounges on the hotel’s front steps. Restaurant on the lowest level was tasty. I had a room with a balcony and sitting there in the evenings was the best part of my trip. Will definitely come back.

The hotel is right in the heart of Split, convenient to everything you want to see. The staff is lovely and extremely helpful. Our room had a roomy balcony with table and chairs; we found it a perfect way to end the day in our own private space. They can help arrange taxis and excursions as well.

Cute little property near Diocletian place . Great customer service. Front desk staff's was so friendly and always willing to help and provide guidance.

The hotel is actually in the castle of the old town. It gives a unique experience to the stay.

Had a wonderful experience. The entire staff were friendly, personable, and very helpful. Location, location, location. Although initially a little hard to find, but overall great location. Walkable to everyting. Since it is a few steps from two restaurants/bars it did get kind of noisy, but I was not suprised due to previous reviews. Did not have any effect on my stay. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Wonderful stay, right in the middle of city. The hotel is clean, staff is kind, room was spacious, I can had a small balcony with windows that opened. It was easy to find and walkable to everything. It was a wonderful stay.

What an amazing place, the hotel was conveniently located about 15 meters from the Riva walkway and Adriatic Sea. The parking situation wasn’t communicated well in the site. There is no onsite hotel parking, the hotel has some limited spots in town, but have to reserved in advance. Once I figured that out, the rest of my stay was perfect. A beautiful peaceful place to relax.

The staff at Slavija Hotel are all terrific.
