The front desk was super friendly. Telling me to go rest. And the breakfast was hood.

This is the forth time for me, coming here, Cleanliness: Parking lot. Nothing out of order,always looks welcoming. Front check in, clean as a whistle. When I get to my room, after a long travel. I open the door. Walk in , take my shoes off. Knowing, my sock won't get dirty. I don't have to check anything! Because I know it's Clean. And the staff: Nothing but praises there. I met a lovely young man there. Full of personality plus. He got his 5yr. pin. How wonderful was that for him! However when he needs to be more white collar, he's on the money. Another front person. A young woman, who got her one year pin. She was over the moon about it. I needed some help. I said I would like to be there when the maintenance man comes. It was to do with my TV.. Well by gosh, after 5 minutes of getting in . She called me . 5 minutes later he was there. I saw this young woman, just before her shift was over, a few hr. later. She asked how did it go? Like WOW!! The maintenance man. Was the best ever. I'm not tec savey this fob for the tv. We sat down . He explained everything. Yes I got it. So simple. He was a true gentleman!! Oh ya, before I forget. The cleaning lady. She was down the hall from my room . I just got back and saw her. I waved my arm and said good afternoon . Well. with her beautiful blond hair in a pony tail . She did the same back to me. How wonderful is that! Thank you Bayview Hotel, for your wonderful staff!! True Canadian Staff!!!!

The room was a good size annd well-equipped. Front desk and kitchen staff were helpful and gave prompt service on requests.

We would have had a view but the hotel design put a maintenance building on the ocean side rather than the highway side..

Really decent hotel stay for us. Comfy bedding including excellent pillows; very clean room; good setup with coffee machine; nice flat screen; great location. Nice welcoming staff. Included breakfast was good. We would stay again.

We booked the more expensive King bed executive suite room…the traffic was VERY loud since these rooms ALL apparently face the main highway in front of the hotel…NO Bay view from this room. The breakfast included was okay, continental really.

Enjoyed another great stay at this hotel. Breakfast was delicious. I enjoy the artwork that is on display.

We had a very nice stay at the Bayview Hotel. I had read an article where they showcase local art so paid particular attention to that and was very impressed. The front desk staff were very efficient and ready to please! I would definitely stay there again.

Pet friendly and has a nice trail in behind to walk the dogs

This was our first stay at the Bayview. Just a quick overnight visit. The front desk staff were excellent. Our room was far nicer than we expected. Will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to everyone.

Comfortable hotel and amazing staff. Housekeeping could use some work, but the front desk staff apologized and immediately made it right when informed. I would definitely stay here again.

Bayview was excellent value. i have stayed at some more expensive hotels with breakfast included and the service/upkeep was awful. Kudos to the girls in the kitchen for keeping up with the food supply and keeping tables clean and available! Our room was comfy and clean. Would stay here again for sure.

Having stayed in Courtenay for several weeks in almost all hotels this year I can certainly say this is the best hotel if youre looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet place to relax after a long working day. There is room for improvement on breakfast space and options, otherwise everything else is perfect! Thank you!
