The hotel is OK, nice location. But I booked a day earlier and arrived the next day and negotiated the refund, they said they could do nothing about it. The staff, you don't feel welcome at all.
If you are looking for a nice location, then it's. Otherwise, nothing special.

Convenient shopping, restaurant, metro station SanShanjie 三山街站 and tourist attraction (Fuzi Miao) 南京夫子庙 nearby. Best place to stay only off the room run down old tiles crack and stepping old carpet. The room services is good. Swimming pool not for adult but sona and gyms okay. Stayed 6 nights love to go to Confucian Temple Area (Fuzi Miao) 南京夫子庙 shopping area looking at the crowd night scenery.

Located near the Confucius Temple area, and surrounded by ugly old apartment buildings, this property is showing its age on many levels. The whole decor is very 1980’s. Bathroom in our room is very worn with major drainage problem in the walk-in shower. Breakfast is decent with mixed Western and local choices. Nearest Metro is 10 min away by walking through a makeshift pedestrian alleyway next to a construction site. Hotel guests are mostly local business travelers.

Good quality / price but my room in wing A was suppose to be non-smoking but was smelling like cigarette. They also had construction work closeby during the night which is pretty annoying.

Staff were nice, most spoke English. When I arrived the AC wasn't working in my room but called up and got it fixed straight away. Room itself was fairly standard, got all the basic amenities (towels, shower gel, slippers, umbrella etc.) Location was very good, about 5/10 min walk from 2 metro lines and close to lots of shops / food.

Unexpected good hotel. The hotel people is very pleased n special of Cindy. She help us a lot for our travel n explain which location for travel is good in this season. She gave us very good impression in this trip in Nanjin.
I will book the Holiday Inn Group hotel in my future travel.

Close to the 夫子庙 and nearby malls.. very convenient for assess to foods and places of interest.. stayed in a superior suite, room is big with bedroom separated from dining area and office table, like the bedroom privacy.. cleanliness is good.. will stay here again

The reception service is good. But the staff is kind of lazy. I asked about direction to the nearby mall, she just pointed to a totally wrong direction, letting us walking outsider for 5 minutes, while there was a door next to the mall. The hallway is not air-conditioned, making it very hot.

The room service staff didn't understand anything on their own menu. Eventually I settled on toast which they managed to bring without butter, then I had to wait another half an hour for that too. Overall not a great stay, thankfully I was only there for one night.

The hotel was very nice, the room was dated but nothing to put you off. Although if you not a fan of combi bath/showers probably not the hotel for you. The staff were brilliant and the location is amazing, in the tourist area and attached to a really nice mall if your into that sort of thing but only a short walk to the nice local hidden gems.

access to the gym is important; they closed it for "sterilization" for 10 days; one day is understandable, 10 days is ridiculous; very noisy outside and inside the lobby; could not read the paper in the lobby, far too noisy

It was just ok. The location was good. The staff were friendly and could speak pretty good English.
The business centre was terrible, with constant loud noise from phone set to ring insanely loudly. The computers were slow and the chairs were broken.
The hotel restaurant was freezing, with no heat on in December. People were actually wearing their parkas to eat. The food was poor.
It was the most hilariously awful exective lounge I have ever seen! Laughable!
Free laundry for club floor and free mini bar (excluding alcohol), so that was nice!
But all in all, it was ok. It was a Holiday Inn, in China. So too much cannot be expected. I probably would not stay here again, but it was not a terrible experience.

there are much better hotels to stay at. this hotel is old, poorly maintained, and the breakfast is terrible. The catering equipment in the breakfast room is so old, was so off putting i could not have any breakfast, so i went to the Starbucks in the adjoining mall. Definitely would look for a newer hotel next time. I sat in the executive lounge and kept smelling cooking oil. Compliments to reception staff however, because when i complained about the foul smell (of cooking oil)! in my ROOM they moved me to a suite. And concierge was helpful.

Good location, near bus stops and MTR stations. Two huge shopping complexes beside the hotel. Stayed for six nights. Room wasn't made up during one of the days, but it didn't really matter to us.
