Enjoyed the stay

Smelled *heavily* of cleaning products. Old soap left in the bathroom. Rust around the bathtub.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Only issue was with the room keys. We did have to wait at the front desk for a while to have it replaced once but the lady who was working was extremely busy so it was not her fault. Husband who doesn’t like hotels said the beds were great and it was the best sleep he’s had in a while. Kids loved breakfast and the pool. The pool was empty every time we went so we didn’t have to worry about the kids bothering other people. We definitely enjoyed our weekend there!

Desk clerk was not friendly. The pool was supposed to be heated it was not. They did not replenish food for breakfast as needed.

The bathroom was filthy. You can clearly see dirt and grime accumulated on the baseboards and in corners, which made me question the cleanliness of everything, I didn’t even eat breakfast because if the staff don’t properly clean the rooms people sleep, they likely don’t properly clean the kitchen. We have to park across the street at another hotel and walk because 18 wheelers were allowed to park across 8-9 parking spaces that should be for the paying guest. I took pictures of the filth in the bathroom so if you want them I’ll happily email them to you

The check in was great. They do not have an elevator for the service staff so they were always having to wait to use the elevator. Hotel could really use another one. There was a giant cockroach in my sons room that I had to go kill for him, at 12 am, because he and his wife were scared of it. Also our car got scratched by someone in the parking lot. On one night there was no were to park and we had to park across the street at another hotel and walk to ours at 11pm at night. The pool was nice. The breakfast was good.

Just ok

Room was large and comfortable. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to even show up at the reception desk to check us in. By the time the person arrived there were at least 4 other families trying to check in as well.

Kids running up and down halls loudly. Staff was not overly welcoming, acted as if you were a bother when you needed something from the front desk.

Excellent hotel and clean. Very professional and friendly staff. Handicap accessible room with perfect accommodations and near the hotel. Great location with a few restaurants within walking distance. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The breakfast is not included, but the food was good. The hotel was definitely a surprise jewel. We will visit and stay again. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

Awesome people behind the desk and at breakfast. Great location for the Vicksburg Battlefield and strait down Clay street to old downtown.

Clean and everyone was nice

The only reason we booked this location was so we could swim in the pool and it was like ice. The mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned properly so the steam from the shower showed a face on the mirror. It scared my granddaughter because they stayed at the haunted Myrtle's the night before. She thought the ghosts followed them.

It was a near perfect stay for the occasion for us. We stayed in Vicksburg to rest for the night before driving the rest of the way home on a road trip, and if you’re looking for a nice, safe, quiet and comfortable place to do that, this is your place. Rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable and Direct TV in the rooms was a plus. I’m not sure how recent renovations were, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into making this a pleasant stay. Only thing keeping me from giving this a better ranking is we traveled with a kid and we hyped up the swimming pool. It was open, but it was WAY too cold. We tried it out but just could not stay in it longer than 10 minutes. Also the elevator seems to be the one thing that didn’t get remodeled and it had a hint of cigarette smoke, but that’s nowhere near a dealbreaker. Overall, we would stay here again if in Vicksburg and recommend others to stay as well, even if it’s an extended stay!

This hotel is impeccably cared for. Room was perfect & well appointed. Nice breakfast. Would have been contented there for days on end! Clean, clean, clean.

Just ok. There are better places to stay for similar price in same area. This place is very very run down and desperately in need of renovations.

Check in was quick. Room clean & comfortable. Plenty of space for luggage. One problem with service: at check in, lobby had ice water for guests. Next morning we figured we'd fill our travel cups but no ice water. Appeared they were ready to refill. We waited but 3 workers at desk didn't explain or seem to care about the inconvenience. So I bought 2 bottles of water ($3) from lobby pantry. I said I was buying because they hadn't filled water, I just got a blank look...no apology, no offer to comp bottled water (which was just generic/grocery water). THEN as I'm packing the water into my bag, THAT employee grabs herself a bottle of water, cracks it open right in front of me as she walks away! Seems like a small thing but was terribly rude and so purposeful.

Very nice and clean.

We stayed when the town water main broke, so we had no water in the rooms. The break was not the hotel's fault, but they could have communicated better. The problem was the door keys. One room in our group - they (and the hotel staff) could not get any key to work, so they had to change rooms. Then all the rooms in our group had key issues. We were suppose to stay 2 nights, but checked out after 1 night. After 24 hours, we still had no idea if we would have water in the rooms.

Staff was friendly. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Would stay here again.

The locks on the room doors are not working. This was a problem throughout the facility. We could not get into our rooms when we arrived, after going to breakfast, and when returning after touring Vicksburg. A staff member said this has not been fixed for weeks.
