The staff were always so nice and helpful. My only minor complaints were that one of the elevators was out for the duration of our stay and the pool was unavailable. I did like that there was a lot of seating in the breakfast room and that the parking is in a covered garage.

Our stay was 8/9/24 to 8/11/24. At the time of our visit, there is a mass renovation going on, so the place was struggling to be fully clean & the pool was closed. The pool amenity is one of the reasons we wanted to stay here, so we were very disappointed. The staff was amazing, kind, smiling, helpful, and very vocal to excuse the mess so there is no fault to them: customer service was excellent. I booked through Hotels.com and there was NO NOTATION of renovation. If we were made aware, we would have made another choice. I would have appreciated a cut rate for the condition of the building and having to go to the (2nd floor) under-construction floor for the ice machine as it was abandon and very creepy. Again, the staff were excellent, so please don't fault the service staff for the - much needed - renovations underway. Shout out to TaQuay (front desk) and Karen (continental breakfast): your smiles and kindness were the best!

The hotel was under significant reconstruction from flood damage and the carpets and other areas were filthy. Also the bed linens were less than par. The staff was very helpful and understanding. The location is perfect for UAB hospital.

No airport shuttle. No disclosure that parking is additional 15.00.

We booked it because of an indoor pool. The pool was closed, one elevator didn't work and the ice machines on 2 floors didn't work properly. Construction was being done while we stayed. None of this was presented to me on the website when booking, otherwise, I would have chosen elsewhere. The staff was super though and I would consider staying again if all the above items are addressed.

Once the construction is finished, should be very great stay.

Toilet filled up every 4 minutes all night. Street racing in the middle of the night.

Selected this hotel specifically because there was a shuttle to the airport. Upon arrival we were informed there was no shuttle and hadn’t been for a while. Room itself had very odd layout. There was also no shampoo or conditioner and very little toilet paper. No phone in room, so had to go down to front seat to request items

The room was nasty on the end tables and night stands. Sticky stuff all over them. Requested my room be cleaned and when I got back from business all day they had not been in the room to clean. So they don’t believe in honoring customers request.

Good restaurants near by.

The indoor pool wasn’t working, they were in the middle of renovation (which wasn’t communicated) stuff was everywhere, it was really hot and the staff seemed uninterested at our converns

A napkin and juice bottle was left in the room. The room wasn’t vacuumed but overall we enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly.

We loved our stay! House keeping needs to be a little better. Unfortunately my daughter 3 yrs found a baggy of pills that was left behind behind the bed. Other than that we loved it

Very nice people and extremely convenient when you were going to Birmingham specifically for Care at UAB. You can easily walk to the UAB facility from this hotel. It felt safe and clean and the staff was really helpful.

Very nice property

Bed or boxspring was broken, shower did not drain. Ac filters were filthy and broken, had to be cleaned by guest, elevators had missing/broken buttons and loud noises.

The staff was amazing!!! Actually beyond amazing. I wish I remembered the young lady at the front desk’s name but she was super helpful. She gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants. The hotel not only offered airport shuttle service but also provided shuttle to local attractions. Saved us money on Ubers. The driver (I believe was named Sam) was just a kind good hearted man. There’s no other place I would think about staying next time while I’m in Birmingham

A great hotel that is in the center of downtown Birmingham. A short walk to UAB hospital and the Kirklin clinic. The room space is great and the bed is very comfy. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff was amazing !!!!! Friendly. courteous and helpful. The outside of hotel is in some serious need of landscaping and cleaning. It has looked the same way since we stayed there in July 2023.

The staff was nice and helpful. I didn’t know you had to tell them when checking in that you are parking there and they refunded me the $15 because I was paying for the parking garage every time I left. So remember to tell them at check in that you are parking

Had a good stay. The breakfast had a great variety. Just wish somebody was there monitoring the food.

Good location. Large rooms that could be updated and improved for comfort and convenience. Friendly and professional staff.
