I was so very frustrated and disappointed with the LaQuinta in Waxahachie that I am not sure I will ever stay there again.
Kerra or Kara needs to have a different job. She doesn’t have a good attitude nor does she care about the guests. She stayed on the phone and was supposed to bring me a new remote and a lamp that works and never showed up. There were roaches or some kind of bugs under the chair and in the sink and it was so dark that I couldn’t hardly see to crochet.
I have stayed at many aLaQuinta’s around this country and this one definitely does not measure up.

The hotel was ok, room was big, the couch, chair and bed were very uncomfortable. The bed pillows looked nice and comfortable but they are mostly just air and filling and went flat. Almost on water pressure in the shower, the sink didn’t drain well at all and the toilet didn’t flush well either. The breakfast was disgusting; powdered eggs, boiled sausage and stale cereal are not very appealing. But the worse part of the hotel is the elevator. The elevator is tiny, slow and smelled horrible, not a dirty smell but a burnt oil smell which made me feel very uncomfortable riding in it. Also forgot to mention the construction worker hammering and banging at 5:30 am and the ambulance that was stationed out back with the ems workers watching me creepily every time I was outside. Will definitely not use this hotel again.

I stayed on a Wednesday night for a business meeting Thursday morning. The hotel was very nice and updated. It had hardwood/laminate floors instead of carpet, which I thought was awesome!

The bed was not comfortable at all. The knob on the tub faucet came off. It was almost impossible to turn the tub faucet to get water on to take a shower and could not get the water to just run as shower, it ran from shower head and the tub faucet at the same time. Both which I reported to front desk only to be told the maintenance man was off that day so nothing was done to fix the problem. It took forever to adjust the water temp at sink faucet to go from scalding hot to a warm/cold temp to use. Also was not aware they did not clean room everyday, so I had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The food was not that great for the continental breakfast. Orange juice machine was broken and the juice made in the pitcher was watered down.

A few things were notable.
1. I had to ask for fresh towels every day because there were no hooks to hang my towels.
2.the breakfast did not include any water to drink
3 the elevator really smelled from the mechanics of it and was dirty
4. The bathroom was dirty
5. I did appreciate the microwave and refrigerator
6. No shampoo was provided..only conditioner
7. It took 10 min for the water to heat up.

They were very helpful to us to allow us to check in early.

The smell in the room was unpleasant and also everywhere else in the hotel. The pool had too many bugs in it to enjoy the water so it needed to be cleaned. The air conditioning gave a mildew scent as it blew the air in the room.

We stayed for the night due to baseball tournaments. Very simple check in and comfortable.

Only problem we had was there was no hot water the one evening, my husband called and the issue was resolved. A cold shower never hurt anyone

Not a good stay. Never received room service. I had to take a cold shower for 3 days. I informed the young man that worked the night shift and he told me that the maintenance man would come bay but he never did. I honestly feel that I should be compensated for my inconvenience.

So at check out, the manager told me my card was declined so i gave him another and same thing. Then another card, then turns out he had charged my first card. Then the gasoline smell in the elevator, the mold smell in the room, the kids running up and down the halls from 1130 to 2am and the dogs barking at them. This was not a pleasant stay. The front desk comforted she was off at 1130 and she told the kids not to be doing things like this. I asked where are the chaperones? She said she didn't know.

First off, they put a $50 per night hold if you use a Debit Card which is BS, told me it would be 14 days to credit back to my account BS. The TV didn’t work, the bathroom light didn’t work, used straws on the table, overall nasty. Your Debit Card policy is stupidly rediculus.

I had a reservation for this past Sunday and my car was vandalized where they stole the gas I had filled up the night before checking in. I asked the property for a video being at the car was parked in the front and supposedly they don't have any cameras in that area which I believe is a lie. They don't want to do anything about it and tell me to call the authorities unfortunately the authorities can't do nothing being that there's no video the only thing I have is the receipt of what I paid for my gas via credit card before I checked in because the gas station was around the corner what is Expedia going to do about this no one wants to take matters into their hands
