Hotel was as wonderful as usual, BUT a coach full of teenage footballers really spoilt the stay due to their late night partying and noise!!

I made a reservation for June 21 on Feb 24th with Hotels.com. On Feb 25th I received an invitation to reserve parking with no email listed. I found their email on their website and requested a parking spot be reserved. I never heard back but the email did not bounce back. Upon arrival about 3PM, I was emphatically told that there was no spot for me. I looked up and showed the reception agent the email from them to me and the one I sent them. I was told since I did not have a confirmation number there was nothing they could do. A manager came out and told me the email they sent was automatically generated and they were probably all reserved four months in advance. He emphasized there was nothing that could be done. I was directed to park in an unsecured outdoor public lot a half mile away and with about a hundred stairs to return to the hotel. At no time did either person show any empathy, or express that they were sorry. They did not offer a ride back to the hotel from the parking spot, did not offer to compensate for the 3E charge, did not offer a discount on food or drink- nothing. They simply proved they had not issued a confirmation so that made them in the right. I told them that there would be no additional money spent with the hotel and I bought lunch, dinner, breakfast elsewhere. Upon checking out in the morning I informed the two at the counter that the unpleasant employes had ruined the stay and they stood there saying nothing. I said they might say Sorry -one did

This hotel has the perfect spot by the beach. You just walked down the stairs and you can enjoy the great view of the cala of Tamariu. The hotel is very pretty and their staff is beyond friendly. They really make you feel very comfortable. The bartenders Tomeu and Xavi, and Alex, Marcela and “el polaco” were absolutely incredible and service was amazing. We will definitely try to come back to this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Hotel Hostalillo. From the helpful reception team to the super service from the senior barman and restaurant staff, everyone welcomed us. Our room had a lovely balcony with a panoramic seaview. We also paid to keep the car in the garage, which was great. Was a perfect stay.

We keep coming back , this was our third trip here to the Hotel Hostalillo in a little over a year and we still love it great location in the heart of the picturesque Costa brava , beautiful stunning scenery even when not blazing sun, it was a lovely tip and one we will probably repeat again

Verry nice location. Delicious breakfast and good value restaurant... clean rooms with beautifull view. Only disadvantage we experienced that rooms are quite loud...

The location was very pretty and our initial interaction with the desk upon checking in was great. They were friendly and helpful. At night, the bar area began closing around 11pm and they turned the lights out on us while we were playing cards with no warning. We moved to the lounge area with the couches and they soon thereafter turned those lights off on us, with no communication. We asked if they would turn them back on and they said "no, that area is closed." Since they would not allow us to stay in the comfortable lounge area, we could only sit near the front desk and were told we had to be quiet because "this is a hotel" and we were near to other rooms. So we had to whisper to finish our card game. The whole interaction was rude and unhospitable. If you go to bed early and avoid the bar, you should not have a problem at this hotel.

Amazing views, location clean comfortable Hotel!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hostalillo. Our room overlooked the beach and had beautiful views of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and arranged for a portable crib prior to our arrival. Our room was incredibly clean, large and recently renovated with new bathroom fixtures.

We LOVED our stay. Great view, great service, truly lovely dinner at the onsite restaurant. So easy to get to beach and hiking trails. We knew ahead of time parking would be slightly off site - very easy, though. We loved listening to the ocean at night. Great location for exploration of the region. We’d definitely stay again.

I love Tamariu it’s beautiful and the hotel was lovely, would recommend!

This property was amazing!! The staff, rooms, common areas and location left us very satisfied. Booked 2 rooms 3 days, to travel along costa brava and we all agree that Tamariu was just about the most beautiful place we have seen just yet! We definitely recommend this stay for a pleasant trip.

The location and views couldn’t be beat. The room had ants and wasn’t adequately clean when we first checked in but the staff rectified that. I do wish that we had been better informed about amenities; we weren’t told that we had beach towels and I didn’t know there was conditioner available until I asked. We really enjoyed our time here and I’d come again. The walking paths and beach couldn’t be beat.

This property was in a fabulous location, and had restaurants and bars with great views of the water/beach. However, the facilities are a little rundown, and dated. But overall we enjoyed our stay here. Also the food was great, breakfast and dinners too!

Perfect hotel in an amazing location, short distance to a beautiful beach and restaurants

The hotel itself was quite nice. Clean rooms, working air conditioners, friendly staff. Included breakfast was also better than expected. Will say the beach and main area outside of hotel was CROWDED (we came mid-July, arrived on a Saturday afternoon). It was much busier than we expected. Overall I give the hotel itself 4 stars, but Tamariu beach 3 stars.

Excellent hotel with an amazing location! Tamariu is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We will definitely return. Tip get a sea view room … it’s worth every penny

Great hotel with a lovely room and patio with a view of the bay. Large very comfortable bed. The restaurant both for evening meal and breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the menu from the carte , discounted for residents . Lovely food and the breakfast assortment was varied and plentiful. Drinks in the Miridor Bar were great with the amazing view. The Miridor could do with more staff as service could be a bit slow. In the restaurant the the waiters, while great and attentive, could do with slowing down a little and then the atmosphere would be a bit more relaxed. It was just a little bit too hectic , perhaps they could do with a couple of extra staff on each shift. Drinks at the Vermuteria also lovely but it could stay open past 8 pm But all in all wonderful and we would love to go back and do it all again

The hotel is really nice and the personal was really kind and helpful. What I like the most was the food and the breakfast!!! A lot of variety and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend to always travel by car since transferring to Tamariu is not so easy (no public transport) and taxis are expensive
