One of the best locations in Interlaken. Short bus ride away from the busyness of the central Interlaken.

Accessibility. Too far of a walk from bus station. They should have at least a shuttle.

This property has a beautiful view and friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast and outdoor space. We recommend this hotel.

Perfect for the mountains!

Rooms could use a little refresh but overall they were super clean and serviceable. We were extremely grateful for a fan as it was hot and even with the balcony doors open the room was warm. Our son loved the pool, the breakfast was very good, and the scenery from our balcony was beautiful!

The hotel is in a scenic location. Wilderswil Village is a beautiful place, and we chose this hotel mainly for that reason. We enjoyed the scenery. The room was comfortable, and there were no issues with the facilities. The breakfast was good. It is a hike from the railway station, though.

The location of this property is quite cool with scenic views but the property is not up to the mark for the amount they are charging for it. They don’t provide any toiletries supply and building itself needs some cosmetic upgrades.

Excellent stay

Really nice place with old world charm. The Breakfast was really good.

The views out my window in the morning were sureal. To wake up in the morning and see the sunrise against the mountain valley. Cows in the farmlands below and seeing the snow capped mountains in the background. This hotel is dated, so noise from other patrons is a little issue (foot steps, floor boards creaking, talking outside) But a set of earplugs solved any issues I had with this hotel. Will definitely stay here again if given the chance

Beware if you have mobility problems with walking. It’s a lovely hotel to stay at if you have a car but from the railroad station it’s a 6/10th of a mile almost straight up to the driveway of the hotel, which of course is also uphill. There is a bus that runs partially up the hill almost every half hour but we didn’t have much luck with that though we did see it. We are in our seventies and my husband has leg/ back problems so it was a difficult stay for us especially after a day out. It certainly put a stress on our stay in Switzerland. Also there is only breakfast so you have to find another restaurant open. We were a bit off season but you can partially go down part of the hill to get lunch or dinner. They do provide a plentiful breakfast and the surroundings are beautiful countryside so if you are looking for peace or have a car I would recommend it. Just not great if you are traveling by train and trying to sightsee during the day.

View from the room was amazing! The room was very small but had nice balcony. 15mins walk from Wilderswil. 8 mins walk from the nearest bus stop. Hotel gave us free pass for the bus which we end up using every day. It was a wonderful stay. We would like to come back again. Thank you

Nice property

The Hotel has the best view I've seen, 10mins walk to the train station to most attraction. Special shout out to Victoria and Linda giving us advice what to do in Interlaken.

Strange location and building

Very nice property, very clean, Staff is very nice, breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.!!!

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at Hotel Berghof Amarnath. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the included breakfast was delicious. Certainly would stay again.

Mildew build up on windows and bathtub and walls. We got sick from the bad conditions of our rooms. The hotel refused to allow us to check out the next day and forced us to pick other rooms to stay in. Old rustic property in many rooms. Some lights work and others don’t. Floor so old and uneven. Staff rude and disrespectful. Our room key got stolen among other items when our car was broken into in the big city. The hotel asked for a police report which we provided upon their request. They still charged us $150 franks for losing the key and with the police report they still did not waive the fee knowing that we lost so much because of the theft. They listed laundry facilities but that’s not true! They charge for every service and do not have any facilities for their guests use.

The hotel and views were stunning! The staff was so friendly and made us feel welcomed. We loved breakfast and the books for our daughter!

I was uncertain about staying here as there were mixed reviews, but I am VERY glad I did.I was upgraded to the "chalet", a modern adjacant building in chalet style, where I had a spacious room with everything one could want, including great views & a balcony. The included breakfast buffet in the spacious dining room was excellent, a very full range & lots of choice - everything from hot bacon & eggs to a variety of cold meats & cheeses to cereals & a great coffee machine.Parking is spacious & free (rare in this area)Interlaken is an interesting destination - but you do pay for that!! Typically at least double the price I paid to stay here.As this hotel is about 1km from Wilderswil town, it is best to have a car here; or bikes; or enjoy walking.
