Very nice.

The hotel was great and a fair price for a tourist’s area. The staff are the best part. Sofia was so helpful and services oriented. The gardens were also amazing. Breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable also. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

First time in Switzerland and we were blessed to have chose this place!! Staff were helpful and friendly!! Great location, seconds from station and grocery store. Mountain View is amazing from their room views!! Would definitely recommend to family and friends!!

Guys in reception are very friendly and helpful, they are perfect. However, the bath is too small, the cleaner was not good did not change stuffs for the next day even soap was empty did not full it, lack of breakfast.

Very pleasant hotel, conveniently located near the train station, with helpful friendly staff. Room we stayed in was very basic, but comfortable enough and had a small balcony with an amazing view of the garden, village and magnificent mountains. Very nice breakfast. The room also has a small electric kettle for tea or coffe.

This Hotel is older and keeps with style of the area, but it is very clean, the beds are comfortable and it is only a 2 min walk to the rail station. Please note they do not have an elevator so you do have to use stairs but the staff are very willing to carry your luggage up for you. It comes with a nice breakfast and the restaurant is also a good choice for dinner. The view from our room was breathtaking and we enjoyed the cool air and the beautiful garden in the back. I can’t say enough about Anze the concierge who greeted us, offered to carry luggage, made reservations, gave directions and check in on us. He makes this nice Hotel even better. If we are in the area we would definitely stay again.

Great Eastern holiday. The hotel surpassed our expectations, great staff, clean, awesome location and services amenities such as dinner, buffet breakfast and jacuzzi.

Great view with a wonderful scenery. Shopping and train station close by. Quiet area as well.

Anna at the front desk was very helpful at check-in and later with information on Lauterbrunnen and Mürren and Chris in the Edelweiss Restaurant provided excellent, personal service. We recommend the Rosti with chicken and mushrooms (outstanding!) and the South African curry dish, sehr gut!

we stayed 2 days at that beautiful Hotel with beautiful gardens and view, comfortable spacious rooms, a very tasteful and various breakfast. experienced awesome attention from the reception clerk Sophia and Hotel Manager Andree that made all they could and helped to make our stay as pleasant as possible.the only reject is that theres no elevator!

We felt so welcomed at the Alpenrose. Andre created a special tour for us to accommodate the weather and kept us from spending money to then be disappointed by a cloudy day. This is not a 5 star hotel but we had a 5 star experience. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was great. When I booked this I was not aware it was in Wilderswil outside of Interlaken but it worked out great. The train was under repair and the bus was easy to catch and take into town.

Lovely garden. Room with great view. Breakfast buffet good with cold cuts , etc. very convenient for train to Lauterbrunnen and bus to Interlaken.

The beds were some of the most comfortable of the trip and they had a great family room that allowed the childrens room to be closed off from the parents room if desired. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the location cannot be beat. Perfect for catching the train or bus wherever you need to go. The breakfast selection was huge and delicious! Would definitely stay again.

The location is good, just five minutes walk to the the wildersill tram station. The garden of the hotel is very beautiful. There are many different kind of flower. The building is 100 years old, whis is historical and beautiful. I can enjoy the beakfast in the restaurant with spectacular view. Also, the jacuzzi is open for use from 8pm-10pm. This is a memorable moment.

The men staff is so nice and kind. He will treat you everything if you want. The view is perfect

It was a decent place. I can’t really say anything really good or really bad about it, it was just a place to lay my head and get some rest. The staff for the front desk was the same staff as those in the restaurant so I stood at the desk for 10 minutes just waiting for someone to greet me, then I had to go back to get a shower towel because I wasn’t given one and waited another 10 minutes, so the service was definitely mediocre. The room was comfortable and it’s in a nice location, so I’ll give it that. It’s a budget friendly place and does the job.

The property is old and lovely. Gorgeous gardens to relax in. Very short walk to the train station for travel elsewhere.

I really loved the staff. They went beyond expectations to make my trip even better. The view was gorgeous! The room I had was cozy and clean. Highly suggest staying there!!!

Decent location - close to railway station. but the hotel is a bit old. needs much better sound proofing. floors are squeaky.a little over priced.

Let me start by saying that the staff is quite nice and helpful and the property has a wonderful view and a tremendous amountl of potential. That being said, it is in great need of updating and is lacking in just about every amenity. The towels and sheets were old, gray and worn...no shampoo and the room was not cleaned particularly well. Our room was situated on the first floor, sandwiched between the entrance to the reception area and a lovely patio area in the back with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the hotel had a bus load of rowdy visitors - half of which spoke at full volume on the patio and the other half speaking at full volume in the reception area until well past midnight. Once they went upstairs, the parquet floors above us squeaked and squawked for another hour. There was no air conditioning and the rooms were fitted with down comforters designed for the winter months - the heat was miserable and I did not get a wink of sleep. The breakfast was well done and again, the staff greeted us in a friendly manner although no one asked how our stay was. I think this place could be spectacular with a little love but sadly I will not be back to see it.
