I would never stay there again. Woke up in the morning having to kill cockroaches.

This hotel stay has been the worst we've had so far. The room floor was so dirty it looked like no one sweeped or mop the floor. The bed sheets had stains and hairs. I found at leat 5 dead roaches in the room and one in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was also very dirty with hairs on the floors. The TV mostly but also the microwave was full of dust. It was all so very dirty. We stayed doe two nights despite all this because I really didn't want to go to the trouble of looking for another place. I made the BIG mistake, I still can't believe my self, of not reading the reviews prior of our booking. If I had I would have never book our stay here. So leason learned. Also, our room was not cleaned the next day as I was expecthing. At every other place we've stayed it gets cleaned once you step out for the day. You come back to a clean room, made bed with clean sheets and a cleaned up bathroom with new set of towels. Again my mistake for thinking Motel 6 would have descent service as to clean our room while we were out. I had to call front desk to ask for a new set of clean towels. One thing for sure, wont make the same mistake again of booking cheap Motels because cheap service is what you'll get.

Third motel 6 I’ve stayed at on this trip to a few states and this was the most expensive yet the worst condition of them all! For a budget price you obviously don’t expect 5 stars but basic cleanliness is a standard. Rooms had small black hairs in the bed/fridge. Changed rooms twice and all three rooms had hairs in. The bathrooms had small flies in. The staff member on the front desk was helpful enough and changed my room when I politely said I wasn’t happy and even came up to the third room with me where I pointed out the hairs again, asked could I just stay the one night and get a refund on the second so I could stay somewhere else. Was told no worries but the next morning I was told my booking was non refundable by another on the desk and there were no managers around. I just said I would stay and would he please get the sheets changed they kindly said would sort it. I came back that night to freshly changed sheets with hairs and now a big stain on the sheet. Giving this review so people can see before booking. The staff were nice to deal with but a shame they would not refund me so I could go somewhere else. Complimentary water is a nice touch. Motel 6 easy for us as sibling travel we were guaranteed two beds and the parkings great at these places. Stayed in a La Quinta inn by Wyndham after this for less money and it was great with shampo/hairdryer/coffee machine/gym/pool and the room was clean. The hotel is overpriced and cleaning needs improving. Wouldn’t recommend.

one nighter business trip

Motel 6 Monterery Park was the worst ever, they dont even keep your " reservation" past 7pm, Michael with Motel 6 even called en route and i comfirmed i would arrive 10pm, when i did arrive they had given away my room, "reservation to someone else

Excellent experience. 5 stars!

Decent hotel room. Basic. Chairs hurt to sit on for more than 5 minutes to do computer work and sheets had a couple of stains on it. Tv had to be programmed in order to work and did not have an hdmi port to connect my fire stick. Overall decent cheap motel.for the price. Noise comes through the door ot also

Check in begins at 2pm, on the app it states that check in ends at midnight, it the hotel called me around 4:30pm threatening to cancel my reservation if I didn’t check in before 6pm, after tho my reservation was paid for in full.. so we were rushed to do what we were doing to get out to Monterey park by 6pm, we literally got there like 3 mins shy, ice machine was broken, little ice tub to get ice was dirty, like disrespectful dirty but it didn’t matter because machine was broken, overall nice place, 15 mins away from Olvera st and downtown LA, would go again

i’ve stayed at other motel 6 locations before and this has been the dirtiest one.. walked barefoot and my feet were black, they have roaches and the staff was nice but they never had any towels.. room smelled like cigarettes. i don’t care how affordable the motel is roaches and a dirty room is unacceptable

The room had a sweaty smell, the tv screen had a line through it plus the room had roaches and slept on coils. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Good price, good location, close to LA downtown. Great for us, has elevator.

I has a good stay but the floor was so incredibly dirty and the bedding was all white. I have dogs at hone and my feet dont get as dirty as they did in this room. The rest of the stay was fine, but because the floor was so dirty, the cleanliness of the rest of the room concerned me. I think the cleaning crew is doing the bare minimum and just does enough to look clean but is not actually clean. Not to mention the cleaning crew didn’t realize I spoke spanish and they were talking badly about me in front of me, thinking I am white and probably didnt know what they were saying.

Awful experience, gross room. Woke up in the middle of the night and had to leave due to geting bug bites. Found multiple bus in the room. Room smelled like pee. The workers were very friendly. I understand this is a Motel 6 but i have been to many others with no issues like this. I already contacted customer support for a refund. We had to leave at around 12am and find a different place to stay.

The restroom have many baby cockroaches running around. It was unpleasant and doesn’t make you feel comfortable. The A/C was unstable with the temperature in the room

My stay was a weekend getaway. The room was ok, the mattress was a little saggy and the window shutters didn't stay open. Otherwise it was quiet and peaceful.
