The room 102 smelled of mold. The walls were covered in green mold and it was very dirty. Mildew was terrible and the drain in shower doesn’t work.

Top marks to professional staff and a terrific all round team! Kuhn Pang and Kuhn Tar were especially helpful on my arrival, and I appreciated their presence. The pool is glorious, snd the grounds are spacious. The cuisine in the De Lanna restaurant was really well prepared and freshly made. I loved the spinach lasagne and the pumpkin soup! Thank you!

Just finished a three-week trip in SE Asia and this was by far our favorite hotel we stayed. The location right in the center of Chiang Mai's Old City was perfect, since it was very walkable to many restaurants and temples. The hotel itself was fantastic: the room was large, clean, and very modern, and the pool was great. We spent most evenings relaxing on our private balcony (worth upgrading, since the price difference isn't too larger) and a few days relaxing by the pool. We did not feel the need to pay for the breakfast at the hotel since there are many cafes nearby. It was very nice to have an attached, pool-side restaurant, which made it very easy to enjoy drinks and a meal while lounging near the pool. Not a single bad thing to say about this place, and I would highly recommend it for anyone.

The floor was redone in our room and the new floor was raised 6 inches, creating hazardous steps and levels within the room, and wood boards were separating.

Perfect location. Awesome staff. Really cute rooms with a nice pool out front. The restaurant is a little pricey considering you can walk out the front of the hotel to endless food options in downtown Chiang mai. We had to take a Grab to Chiang Mai night bazaar market but it’s definitely worth it!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and efficient. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was excellent. We found the location to be very central in the old city and enjoyed the Sunday night market nearby.

We had a lovely stay at De Lanna. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was nicely appointed, comfy beds, and the grounds are relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Great location too!

It was scilent and I could slept well. Squirrel ran on the tree and very cute. Breakfast was good and stuffs were very kind. It is in the old city so you should taxi to go to other places. But walking in the city was also good.

Avoid first-floor rooms at all costs! The windows are boarded up and your door will be the floor to ceiling glass door. You will have no privacy as it forces you to pull up the curtain at all time. The shower floor design is sub-par. You will notice it doesn't take long before the floor is flooded with water. The room was clean, however. and the staffs were friendly.

I liked the hotel. It’s in the center of chiang Mai and there are multiple restaurants/shops nearby. The hotel itself is comfortable, has a small pool and a restaurant. Staff is very friendly and everyone speaks English. Unfortunately, there was a smoker couple next to our room (despite that we asked for a not smoking room) and the our room was filled with smoke all the time.

Great location, especially for night walking street market. Hotel is pretty and clean, a little old but very charming. Good pool. The staff at the front desk are excellent. I forgot and item in my room, and do they went above and beyond to send to back to me. Friendly and competent, thank you De Lanna hotel staff!

Price quoted on the internet, on which we made our decision to stay' was considerably higher than what we had to pay at the hotel. It was book now and pay at the location when arriving. When questioned about the difference they said it was due to the exchang rate. Checking rates when we booked to when we arrived I could not justify this increase in charges. Expedia was of no help to resolve this issue when they were the booking agent. Told us to deal with the Hotel. Still looking into this.

Shower drain clogged, they sent someone to fix it,, but it was left the same. Bad smell coming from the drain near the toilet. Beds are really hard and uncomfortable.

Hotel very traditional Thai, but rooms a bit tired and electrics a rule unto themselves! As access to rooms are open walkways and therefore security was an issue for me as anyone could enter hotel. Staff friendly and hotel food and drink keenly priced and excellent. Tip!!! Take plenty mozi repellent.

The staff is superb! They are responsive and eager to assist . We have stayed there many times in the past and the facility is getting a little worn but they work hard to overcome that.

You will love the design and layout of the hotel with a courtyard and pool at the center. It has a modern style with bed on floor. If you have a hard time getting up from the floor, this is not for you.
Quiet, off the main street, but still centrally located. You can walk to most places in the old city.

We had a great stay! More of a boutique hotel. Food and drinks were good. The best part was the friendly staff. Also very kind with children. There was a washer/dryer on site which was helpful. Great location. The only down size was the tiny bathroom.

Excellent location for exploring the Old City. Our first floor room (108) facing the pool was relaxing, nice atmosphere. Other rooms may not have such great views, however, so perhaps a good idea to check the room location and request in advance.

Nice location for people who did not rent a car or motor bike.The room is so wet that we have to slept under wet blanket for 4 days.

The laundry machine and dryer not ok. Washing machine filled with some tissue paper and dryer not working properly, after paid for 60 bath, our clothes still wet, and we have go to outside laundry service center to do dry our clothing.

Had to ask for a pool view room even though I booked 6 months ago.
Lovely pool after a hot day walking, though surrounds are slippery and dangerous.
Male pool bar attendant was a very happy person, good service.
