The stay was ok had a hard time communicating with front desk they were away a lot 2 days ran out of eggs one hour breakfast was over no cleaning service during my stay

Well I specifically asked for a handicap room due my medical conditions, and when I get there, there is NO HANDICAP SEAT in the the tub. So what is the point of all the four grab handles, but NO SEAT to use? Also the A/C would shut off EVERYNIGHT around 11pm and then our room would get extremely hot by morning no matter what temperature you put the a/c on. Also, last night when I arrived to the hotel for the evening there were at least five people outside smoking Marijuana and staff didn't do anything about it as well. Also there was barely to NO HOT WATER in our room, what a disgrace. I will BE BACK TO THIS HOTEL!!! Also our bill was a lot higher in price, from day to day, cause why wouldn't you just charge it at the end?

Breakfast was meager. Hallway rugs were stained and filthy. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was minimal. Breakfast was not out at 6:30 opening time . Waited about 5-7 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me out.

Property is new limited space at the pool and windy during the time we were there. Close to the beach and centrally located.

Loved the room options. It was great for fitting our larger family into one room. The only downside was their housekeeping left a bit to be desired. The floors were dirty and when I asked they cleaned the room, it wasn’t done. But overall we spent a week here due to being in town for the care of a passing loved one, and the room fit our needs. The front desk associates were polite and helpful and gladly helped us extend our stay by the day while playing our stay by ear. Just wish their housekeepers did a better job.

There was almost nothing for breakfast, too limited and even the coffee maker and waffle maker were in poor condition. Also the TV in my room never worked and they were supposed to send a technician and leave for 3 days.

We enjoyed our 3-day stay there as we were in town for graduation at Fort Leonard Wood; it was very convenient to get everywhere we needed to go and the room was very nice.

They need to update their carpet asap they need better rags and towels they need to update the bathroom, shower curtain and they need to update the hot water heater because the water was not hot at all

Room was not swept, bathrooms had hair in the sink and tub, all dishes were dirty and there was one spoon. No other silverware. Bed was comfortable. We had to go to the front desk to ask for bedding and pillows for the pullout cough. Breakfast was decent. Overall I will never stay there again. I should have never had to go buy my own cleaning supplies to feel like I was staying in a clean room. I bought and cleaned the room before we unpacked for our stay.

We had two rooms. 1 room, the TV never worked. Neither had hot water for showers. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were clean.

Overall it was close to Fort Leonard Wood base the rug in the hallways smelled like mold as well as the room. Customer Sevice was excellent. Other than the strong mede

Amazing customer service! I called and let the facility know I would not be able to check in until after 1 am. They had everything ready when I showed up, Abhi was welcoming and efficient! Could not ask for a better staff!

Nice beds and linen. However, the AC unit hadn't been cleaned in a long while. The room smelled very musty and moldy.

The front office help,a young lady named Hailey was incredibly helpful and professional. Our room was clean,and just had some minor suggestions. First of all put some additional countertop space in the bathroom for toiletries, and the bed could have been a little bit firmer for my back. Breakfast was hot and tasty,but there no lids for the coffee cups.Other than that,excellent experience.

We've stayed at this chain before, different location.
This particular location was so worn down. The photos online were very deceptive. The room was filthy. Dirt on the floor, hair in the bed, brown stains on the sheets, garbage in the shower drain. The room smelled bad.
The breakfast was nothing like the pictures online advertised. Few options, most everything was gone, nothing fresh.
I wish I could get my money back. We definitely overpaid for this stay.

The place needs a lot of work. The carpet in the hallway needs to be stretched. It is a tripping hazard. The breakfast is okay but they run out of food and leave people with nothing to eat. The fruit is rotten. The toilets are really close to the floor. The bed mattresses have been used quite a lot and you sink to the middle. The place is fairly clean. They do not clean your room every day and when they do it is not thorough at all they did not even empty the trash after they clean the room. But if it was not for the front desk and staff I don't think this place would survive cuz they are very nice and put up with a lot of stuff. but I did ask for a receipt when I left being that they do not place it under your door. He said he would email to me he was unable to do it at the office. I still have not received my receipt and have been home for over a week. I don't think I will ever get it I even asked them through a text they asked me about how my stay was. And I still haven't received anything. I think I'm being quite generous giving this place a three.

Bedding dirty with hair. Hair on floors. Didn’t change garbage, toilet paper, towels. Had to ask for items at front desk. Breakfast was never full always had to ask and wait for it to be refilled. Heard elevator all night long as they put our room on back side of elevator.

The management is pretty shady. I was allotted a room that was never cleaned after the previous guest left. Tips left by the previous guest was on the table and bed spreads were not fresh. They charged me more than what I booked it for in Expedia. When I asked them about it they kept saying their manager will get back on that but it never happened. I was checked out and key cards were deactivated well before the check out time of 11 AM. I got it reactivated to pick my things before checkout. I asked for the receipt when I checked out but they gave excuses to avoid issuing a receipt. I insisted for the receipt before leaving as I wanted proof to show that I was charged more. I don’t think all these happened by chance. The management is aware of it and do it intentionally. Please be aware of such practises and check the charges made before you vacate.

[July 2024] - We stayed at Hawthorn Extended Stay for a long weekend (3 nights).
[PROs] - Fairly affordable. Free Breakfast. Small Kitchen (2 burners). Close to some restaurants and walmart.
[CONs]
- Unclean, smelly Hallways (It seems that was a water damage).
- Rooms were fairly clean. However, the mattresses were in poor shape. You literally sink in the mattress.
- Bathroom doors did not lock for all three rooms we had.
- The hotel advertises as Free Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. But most of the items were gone by 8:30ish. There was no kitchen staff. They would not refill any food items including bread, scrambled eggs, or sausage biscuits. All three days, it was the same scenario.
Overall, they were heavily short staffed, but it seems that there was no effort to have more staff. The front desk person tried to help a bit but were not able to fully do all the work.
[Will I choose to stay here again?] - No way. There are lot more better options.
