Near hunter and warm and clean

The property seems renovated which was nice. But the lights are managed not individually but with wall switches even for lights by the beds. A bit inconvenient. Other than that all was good.

The environment is average and the rooms are noisy. It doesn't even match the photo.

Bright lights in my window all night. Internet is non existent.Don’t advertise what you can’t provide. Never again.

If you need a clean, comfortable place that’s near restaurants, Sun View Motel is the place. If you want super easy check in and check out, Sun View Motel is your place. It was perfect for us. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Room is small, beds not comfortable, found a caterpillar in the shower. There is no staff at the property. Office hours are 9-6, however it was closed all the time.

Room was comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, safe, no frills(coffee machine). It was exactly what we needed to ski all day and have a pleasant place to sleep.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Sun View for a skiing weekend at Hunter Mountain. We love it there, great price, very clean, excellent staff and walkable into town for dining. We will definitely be back

My key was waiting for me, which was fine. The problem was the people in room 21, who were loud and talking in Spanish until late at night. I actually knocked on the door and asked them to keep it down, the one guy who answered the door said "really?" Around midnight i knocked on the wall, they knocked back but didn't stop making noise. Finally around 1 or 2 am they quieted down. I contemplated calling the police but knew at that point i'd be up all night dealing with that. There was no front desk or office i could call to have someone deal with these people. I left a message on the main number but no one called me back. Walls are paper thin here, you can hear everything.

Exactly what I needed- clean comfortable and affordable place to relax before a full day of skiing. Two comfy beds, cable tv, hot shower- short trip to a great diner. Would stay again.

My stay was fine for what it was. A quick one night sleep. Room was clean and comfortable, easy check in and check out. I would stay here a again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Sun View Motel. It is in the wonderful town of Tannersville. It is very close to Hunter Mountain so it was convenient for us for we were on a skiing vacation there. Lily the woman who runs The Sun View was so sweet and kind to us. We got extra towels right away and had everything we needed. The only thing was that there were lights outside our window. We used our clothing to cover up the blinds and it worked well. The beds were very comfortable and there is a great coffee house five minutes down the road for a delicious breakfast. And we had dinner right across the street at a fabulous restaurant called Jessies. I would stay there again!

The room was perfect for my son and I to share. It was simple, yet had everything we need. Loved having a microwave and refrigerator too. Would have been fine to have a bathroom door that locked, more/better covering on the bathroom window and also the ability to turn off the outside lights to darken the room more.

Excellent deal - looks like newly renovated. Perfect if you are looking for a place stay while skiing. Don’t let the outside deceive you. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

We were in the ground floor and could hear everything

Difficult to sleep and 3 bright LED lights were shining through a large double window. Blackout curtains are a must is room #18. Even people sleeping on the other side of the room could not sleep due to the very bright light outside the window. Had to add a blanket to the window to block some of the light. Also very minimal office hours.

Terrible service or non service. They stated fire place but non supply for fire up.

Nice clean basic motel. Everything we needed in a good location with beautiful views.

I could not find the ice machine and the office was closed at 7:30am
