Outstanding hotel, and truly an adults only hotel in a lovely quiet part of the island. service fantastic, staff just so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious with lots of choice all freshly made. Such a very relaxing hotel, staff really help you make the most from your stay, their attention to detail was a real bonus. The room was wonderful, huge king sized bed, lovely patio with amazing sea view. We stayed all inclusive and the options and choices of food and drink were fantastic. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly which made our stay so much more memorable. Love the location of the hotel: amazing sunset spot, next to a quiet beach, and scenic hiking route. Great having 2 pools, never too crowded or short of sunbeds. Gym area was well designed. Very good food option, can always find something we like.

The staff were attentive and very polite. Maybe to save on their energy bills, set the balcony lights to auto off when not in use.

Everything was great, we are very happy about our stay. The room is very nice (we had one with the hot tub), staff was very friendly, the food is amazing! One of the best I tried in hotel. But I have to drop one star because of one very annoying thing. Though we didn't have all inclusive, I would expect drinking water to be available freely. This was not the case, no coolers or whatsoever except for breakfast and dinner. This would have been okay if the tap water is of a good quality z but unfortunately that's not true on Ibiza.

A lovely, relaxing stay at Barcelo, Portinatx. A small, friendly hotel with a beautiful quiet cove on the doorstep. Portinax has crystal clear water and was quiet enough in May before the crowds.

Nice hotel in a quiet beautiful location

What an amazing hotel! The Staff are extraordinary - they care so much about the guests. One bartender even offered to drive us to a reservation when our booked taxi didn't arrive on time. The food is wonderful - i've never had a buffet taste so good, the chefs really are proud of their work and they should be!

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view. Huge balcony with jacuzzi which we enjoyed on a night with a full moon. Absolutely enchanting.

While there is nothing wrong with the hotel there are a few observations to make here. We booked a superior sea view and that room was fine. On check in the front desk attempted to give us a free upgrade (which they inked onto the room keycard cover along with “junior suite”. If you are giving an upgrade and you’re a class hotel you don’t need to do this. As regards the room in reality “suite” seems a little overselling the suite term, and which unfortunately smelled quite bad so we reversed to what we’d booked. Also this hotel promotes itself at a certain level, advertising bath products from Bulgari but they’re not. It feels more like an upmarket package holiday hotel in certain aspects.

An excellent hotel and wonderful staff if you're looking for a quiet getaway in a picturesque part of Ibiza. The room was spacious and had good quality amenities within. We were half board and the dining options were excellent. If you do want to step out of hotel for lunch, there are beach bars on your door step and a quiet, yet beautiful bay.

We loved everything about Barcelo Portinatx - from the comfortable beds to the fabulous food, the gorgeous design to the little touches. But most of all, we loved the staff - we've never experienced such genuinely friendly, caring and happy staff at any hotel. We've already recommended you to friends and we really hope we'll be back next year! THANK YOU!

Best service we had probably ever, David the receptionist was simply, fantastic. The extra mile all the way since we put a feet in the hotel, anytime im back in Ibiza, as far as i know he is there, i will be booking with them.

All staff went above and beyond for our anniversary stay and we can’t thank them enough. A fantastic room and brilliant hotel altogether.

Only reason this place doesn’t get a 10 from me is because there was no gym, would have loved to get some workouts in from all the amazing food but this place is beautiful and amazing

The one restaurant they do have you have to PAY for regardless if you bought the AI package. What a rip off. The refrigerators in the rooms weren’t stocked due to “covid” however I would be more concerned with a full buffet shared amongst all hotel guests than a personal fridge for each patron’s room. The beds are horribly uncomfortable and are two full size beds pushed together to form a king. Don’t go here.

My stay at Barcelo was absolutely fantasic! Special thanks to the staff, who all were incredible to make a real pleasant stay! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! Loved it!

I had a really nice 2nights here during my work trip. Room was a bit warm at the beginning but it improved after few hours. Overall ok stay.

The reception on arrival was top class and the staff go to pains to make sure you in holiday mode from the get go. It was very easy to arrange an all-inclusive (AI) package for food and beverages with plenty of variety and great value. The hotel is beautifully designed - calm and very airy. I got a small upgrade and was delighted with sea glimpses over the balcony. I spent most days relaxing by the pool with lots of nice beverages on the AI aswell as lunch and snacks, so easy. The food at the bar is good, not great. There are plenty of options but a bit hit and miss on the quality of ingredients. The only negative for me wsa the pool soundtrack which were renditions of popular pop songs/ crooners on repeat. Speaking to the other guests, genuinely it was the only negative aspect for everyone as it can get grating. The breakfast buffet is exceptional - the quality of ingredients excellent and a massive range. Dinner buffet is ok, a bit repetitive but wasn't that much as an additional at time of booking. Can't express how lovely and friendly all of the staff were - morale obviously good and it showed in the service with everyone (staff and guests) very relaxed and happy. Reception super helpful in booking restaurants, recommended day trips etc. I was also concerned about needing a covid test and that too was sorted out without any stress. All in all - I will definitely be back (hopefully they take on board the pool music feedbck)!!

The hotel is located in a very secluded part of the area which is lovely. there is a small Beach right in front of the hotel and a larger beach about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is designed in a very modern way and all of the staff for very friendly. Good covid-19 safety measures in place to ensure safety. Loved the large bed and the shower on the balcony.
