Amazing place to stay. Quintessential New Orleans.

The Audubon cottages are unique and quaint, and offer a perfect respite from the craziness of the French Quarter. Loved staying there. Sean and Jeffery go to great links to make sure everything goes smoothly. As I was leaving in my car from the garage, Jeffery chased me down a block to give me a jacket that I had left inside by mistake. Truly above and beyond!

Delightfully restored cottage inside a garden, which is inside of another garden through a secret doorway from the street. Absolutely Beautiful setting with a bubbling fountain in the courtyard. Completely historic tall, narrow sets of double doors and windows with shutters opening onto a private courtyard beautifully furnished with antiques that hide all the modern conveniences. New bathroom - yay! Unfortunately, there is street noise from cars -not partygoers - in the afternoons and early evening. It was very quiet at night. Elegant and sophisticated one block off Bourbon - really!!

Nice property off the French Quarter- very nice and convenient. Toilet and A/C were not working properly which was a bit frustrating. Overall, a wonderful property and a great stay!

Absolutely not a hotel... so you lose the convenience of a hotel with no full time front desk. Keep that in mind for last minute bookings.
However, this is the hands down best stay anywhere ever. Amazing location, comfortable suites, private & luxurious. I cannot recommend highly enough.

If I could give Audubon Cottages 10 stars I would. My wife and I have visited New Orleans at least once a year for the last ten years or so and this is by far the best hotel experience we have ever had. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the cottages are beautiful and comfortable, the location is perfect, and the staff is the most hospitable and friendly group you could meet. As an example, the property manager Shawn was kind enough to take a forgotten souvenir to FedEx and ship it home for us. For him to go out of his way speaks volumes to the kind of service we received at Audubon Cottages. And a special note of recognition to Wilma who was everywhere and really took care of our daily needs. I honestly believe my wife and I have found the perfect place to stay the next time we travel to New Orleans.

If you want a nice respite from the quarter without being stuck in a box room hotel try this place or its related properties. Private courtyard area for each cottage with gate to pool area.
It’s still the Quarter area so light sleepers bring earplugs (me) for any FQ lodgings.

Charming hotel, clean rooms, excellent location. Very accommodating and helpful staff! Sweet courtyard. Perfect spot to explore and enjoy lots of neighborhoods in New Orleans, in addition to the Quarter.

Just blocks from ultra-noisy and busy Bourbon street, this tiny little group of brick-lined cottages provides a quaint and quiet respite from the typical French Quarter hotels. With a room larger than most, a courtyard with a pool and plenty of extra amenities, this "hotel," all containing one room first floor "cottages" was a delightful alternative arrangement. We are happy we stayed.

This was my second stay at Audubon Cottages and everything was on point. The Butler was extremely helpful and kind, even meeting us in the rain to transfer our luggage. Our room was clean and the housekeepers were so sweet. The bed was ultra comfy. Probably the best part of the hotel is that you feel as if you are in an oasis in the middle of the Quarter. Close enough to walk to everything and private behind the walls. This hotel is exceptional in every way and I cannot wait to return.

Great little courtyard in the Quarter. The room decor is 3-4 stars and could be much better, but is right for the price. Being able to have a 2Br cottage with a bathroom g LR is really - 5 star experience.

Audubon Cottages were absolutely perfect. We couldn't believe how quiet and hidden away we were, while still being in the center of the French Quarter. The gardens, pool and cottages are all beautifully maintained and Jeffery has the best dining recommendations!

Cottage 5 was beautiful! Loved sitting by the pool in the morning. Jeffrey called me in car, on way to property saying he would be in front of gate on Dauphine St to assist me. He helped with my luggage, and made sure that I was not waiting on street. He made checking in so easy. Thank you Jeffrey also for the excellent restaurant recommendations! Brian does an awesome job in making the courtyard look magical. Whenever I return home to New Orleans, I can't imagine staying anywhere else but the Audobon Cottages! Again, thank you so much!

Great out of the way cottage in the middle of the French Quarter. Think there are 7 cottages around a central pool. Convenient but relaxing which is difficult to find right in the heart of Nola.

This is an amazingly good property. Only 7 rooms and 12 beds. The small pool is great and the whole property is a great retreat from the craziness on Bourbon Street just a block away.

Excellent location and atmosphere. Comfortable, private, and quiet. We felt like we had the place all to ourselves. The courtyard was beautiful and the pool was perfect after our walks on warm days. If we return to NOLA we’ll stay at the cottages. So charming!
