Friendly, helpful hosts, cooked breakfast served to room was ok if you choose wisely. Room had a lovely harbour view, although could have been so much nicer. Room decor bit tired, cleanliness standard of shower unit and carpets poor. This B&B has potential to be fabulous but would only recommend using for 1 night if you're looking for a stopover on NC500

The hosts tried their best to make our overnight stay a good experience, but sadly the accommodation let them down. The room window catch was broken and couldn't be be shut tight, or even opened. The whole place is run down. A well cooked breakfast on a trolley was delivered to our room, with the host dressed as a chef, was a nice touch and delicious. Excellent hosts, just the property a let down.

Good location, good view, spacious and good choice for breakfast. Quite dusty and dated.

Ok, but bathroom could do with a deep clean though. Toothpaste left around sink from previous occupancy. And the cabinet underneath was filthy. Mould in shower area which is easy cleanable. Dust around light fittings. Breakfast was very nice.

Very nice property with very friendly, affable owners. My room was clean and well-appointed. The en suite was great, seemed new and with good functionality (rainfall shower, lovely basin). Breakfast in the room is a nice touch. Carpets on the stairs could do with a clean but otherwise all good!

A rather “tired” B&B and a little unfinished. Rather a high cost for a cramped room that we didn’t feel comfortable or “clean” in. It was clean but didn’t leave you with a sense of an inviting, homely clean place to stay.

A great place to stay, very cosy and friendly with fantastic views across the harbour, very comfy bed and a big bathroom, plenty of tea and coffee etc plus a tassimo machine. Breakfast was great and delivered to the room. Have stayed before and will defo be staying there again. Highly recommended, Gary (Leicester)

Good Cv19 precautions. Nice comfy room with good facilities and some great local advice from owner. Excellent breakfast in room!!

Doing the North Coast 500 I got further than planned on this particular day so had to come back down to Wick for the stay. Really wish I hadn’t bothered and carried on the road. The welcome was nice however the hotel and the room were so dirty. I didn’t know how I was going to stay there the night. I was looking for accommodation in the area but by this point everything was sold out. Thankfully Tesco was round the corner where I was able to buy a sleeping bag given there were hairs all over the bed. When getting to the room I thought there was one important things missing - the bathroom! I was then shown a bathroom that was across the hallway. Not what I had in mind when it said en-suite. Although I couldn’t even bring myself to use it other than for the bare minimum. If staying in Wick I’d advise not to stay here. The hosts seem nice but the cleanliness of the hotel has a lot to be desired.

Rooms are in attic so are small. Bed clean and comfortable. Breakfast served in room, slightly overcooked for us. Good supply tea, coffee and milk in room. Easy street parking outside.

The dust on top of the wardrobe had not been cleaned in 2mm worth of gathering time. 1mm dust on top of picture frames. Set of my allergy got 2 hrs sleep. Hillwalk much shorter. Breakfast in room. Antisocial. Breakfast cheap and poor. En suite was a bathroom over the hall. Cobwebs in bathroom and room. Old review stated bed bugs. Checked for bugs. If state of rooms indicates state of kitchen Id be surprised if kitchen is clean. Worst b n b I ever have stated at and at £45 a night. Will complain to Expedia for partial cash refund. Do not stay here.

Very small and out of date accommodation. The owners have tried to update the accommodation, but the layout of the building does not made it suitable for what would currently be expected for B+B accommodation.

I stayed at the Harbour House B&B for 2 nights the room I was given was really lovely. Keith and his wife were both very friendly and welcoming and made both myself and my small dog very welcome. Lovely hot breakfast, or continental breakfast brought to your room at a time of your choice between 07.30 and 09.00, both excellent. Would recommend this lovely B&B as a wonderful place to stay.
