The free breakfast is a major " "! Loved the peace and quiet. Disliked the shower situation; just install a proper shower cabin and do away with that half open/closed bathtub area thing that leaves water all over the bathroom floor.

Good place to visit. Area is quite and easily accessible.

It’s a holiday at check in so nobody was available to check us in called phone on wall and key was in drop box we checked our room it’s has no internet and nobody answered phone so we left immediately Needless to say it’s not a pleasant experience

We liked the restaurant a lot for dinner and the breakfast was great- lots of tasty options. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds well maintained.

Facilities were great, dinner was fabulous. One suggestion is that the facility should offer fans in the room for air circulation as air conditioning is not available. Also replace the under performing down pillows.

I really liked the quiet surroundings. The room was very clean. Very nice terras to enjoy the surroundings. It was a pity that there was no airconditioning in the room but the room was very neat. Breakfast was ok but not much choice. People at the reception were not really guestfriendly or easy approachable.

Right below Burg Nanstein. Beautiful and quiet location. Feel like you're deep in the woods of the Rhineland. I lived in the KMC for nine years and always was charmed by the look of this place. So my Temporary Lodging was spent here upon my departure. It was a great choice. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast.

Very close to castle. Reasonably nice European style rooms and ours were quite large for the price. Quiet area and lovely grounds around the hotel. There is a warm breakfast available in the morning. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating.

Quiet area, yet close to amenities and town.

This is an excellent choice to stay when in Landstuhl Germany. You can walk to the Castle. It is up in the woods and very private. The breakfast was to die for. It was like staying in a Swiss Chalet. Owner and staff very helpful

Beautiful property located up on a small mountain out of the town. The rooms are a little dated but still clean and adequate. I would recommend this hotel. A great breakfast included at a very reasonable price.

Great location, hotel surrounded by trees. For party of 4 I was given a room with with two separate chambers and it’s own bathrooms. Food at hotel’s restaurant was delicious and staff very friendly.

Beautiful location. Great scenery, hiking, walk into town. Although not part of the hotel itself, the beer garden/restaurant at the top of the hill by the castle is awesome. The hotel staff was great when they were around, but everyone seemed to disappear from late morning until early evening. Rooms are typical for an older German hotel: comfortable and clean, but not terribly spacious. Importantly, they have smart TVs with cable, so you can watch plenty of English shows and stream Netflix and YouTube. Breakfast buffet is nice and more generous than most German hotels. Dinner menu is fairly standard and food good. Lots of reviews say the hotel is hard to find, but not if you just follow the signs.

Very quiet, picturesque boutique hotel. Landstuhl is a small, charming town with some big town amenities due to the nearby U.S. military bases. The hotel is literally 300 feet (100m) from Berg Nanstien castle ruins. But as the hotel is on a hill, nestled amongst trees, tulips and a winding driveway, you wouldn’t know the castle was there. Nice restaurant, sauna, exercise room. Friendly staff speaks German and English.

The front desk was only open a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening. No restaurants, lots of renovations taking place.

Overall the hotel was a decent stay...breakfast was a highlight along with the hot tub and sauna. The room was admittedly less than expected...2 single beds slide together and other elements require some TLC...staff was very helpful whenever we had a question or need. The property was in a quiet, wooded area up a hill. No other easily reached dining facilities around, but the town of Landstuhl is a brisk walk away. Comfortable room which fit my needs. 10 minutes away from Ramstein Air Force base and other communities. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Only downside to my stay was that the shower was scalding hot and no way to turn down the temperature. There was no cold water. I spoke to the front desk about the issues but nothing was able to be done while I stayed in the area.

Nice hotel, good location and beautiful terrace. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and this is not properly indicated at the website. Arriving on a Monday after a long drive this is very disappointing especially if a lot of restaurants downtown are closed on Mondays too. Also breakfast is some sort of self service which is slightly disappointing.
