Was a last minute decision to stay somewhere on the way up to QLD and we are very glad we did as the motel was in a quite location with helpful friendly owners and walking distance to everything you need

The room was fairly spacious for just an overnight stopover. The proprietor was very friendly and gave very good advice regarding places to relax & eat, which were all within easy walking distance. The only very slight downside was the water saving showerhead which was a tad too miserly.

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious comfortable room, lovely bathroom. The hotel was full but very quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is close to local club and shops, convenient.

We pulled into the motel lot with unexpected change of plans. The owner was unsympathetic and was charging us for 2 nights out of 5 after much loud discussion of policy. As we were there already and losing the money we decided to regroup and stay and make plans to return due to family emergencies. The owner was not friendly or empathetic citing he had business to run and turned people away thinking we'd be there for 5 nights. WELL... next morning he knocked on the door early and said he had "good news". He had someone that wanted to book multiple nights and we didnt have to stay the 2nd night afterall. Needless to say we had already rearranged our plans to be able to stay the 2 nights so told him so....I dont think he was happy with that either. He had already charged us for the 2 nights mind you. I guess Kharma does exist.The motel was clean. It is older. It is nowhere near the beach pictures it shows in the ads. You also need the car to go into town.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Colonial. It's on a main road but was very quiet. Reasonable sized room with comfortable bed. The owners were very friendly and helpful and provided bowls and cutlery for us to use with our take away meal as well as suggestions for what to do.

The motel location is very convenient, easily accessible to shopping mall & local interests with car. The manager is very friendly. We have a comfortable stay.

My mother booked me into the motel, upon arrival at 2.30pm the room was not available, WiFi not working, will not be going back to this motel. However my parents will. Thanks Natasha

Was looking for a budget motel for a family stay ...Good size room which was very clean. The TV was a touch small but everything else was spot on. Close to everything.
