This was my second stay at Hotell Laponia and it disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the swimming pool area had recently been updated making it a great place to take a swim or sit in the sauna. The gym is also very good for a hotel and has a mix of weights, two tread mills, rowing machine and an exercise bike. Breakfast is very good although a little busy during the winter period. Highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

We visited this hotel when it was reaaly hot weather, about 30 degrees celsius. Our room had a view over the lake and we slept with tho door to the terrasse open which gave us a nice roomtemperature. This is the first hotell that did not have any soap for handwashing in the bathroom. There were plenty of shampoo and conditioner, but no soap for handwashing. Breakfast was ok. We had dinner at the "Laponiakåtan" by the lake. Good food. A bit disappointing that the swimmingpool was out of order.

Bar was supposed to be open till ten, no. Closed before nine. Table tennis was broken, no can use. Pool was broken, can’t use. Billiard was olso broken. And so on

Swimming pool and sauna was great.

We was one night - only for a stop on the way. But the hotel was very fine!

Hotell Laponia is the best choice in Arvidsjaur, with respect to its central location, facilities, room, service, and evening opportunities. It is run by a friendly and young personel that makes sure you all feel comfortable. Gym and pool access is included in price. What a great hotel with Lapland touch. .

The beds were comfy and the rooms were of a good standard the only negative I have to say was about the restaurant. We had planned to have a quiet good meal but the enormous restaurant seemed to be the venue for an ice hockey match, they had a large projecter rigged in the most popular area of the restaurant and was very rowdy, we asked if we could be seated elsewhere but got the answer if we sat in another part of th restaurant then they would forget about us
