Very well located in Puno, however the view and the noise weren’t the best. The room itself was large and had everything needed. Bathroom a little dated, but great value for 1 night. Breakfast was very good and variety of choice.

Over all is a good hotel, sit in a busy street, close to central plaza. Service is good and staff are nice and friendly. But breakfast is lacking and not fast enough to serve.

Excellent hotel in central Puno- loved the corridor lights with motion detectors. Loved the breakfast. Loved the mattress -did sleep great there. Loved the location.

First, the positives - reasonable price, great location near the main square, wonderful breakfast buffet, and kind and helpful front desk staff.
Second, areas needing improvement - lighting was poor, bed linens uncomfortable and too heavy, but especially no hot water. I was excited to see a bathtub, but only lukewarm water and no plug. A staff person came to the room to "fix" but not remedied. Two nights with no hot water a bummer. Would have been great otherwise.

The staff was excellent and helpful. The only drawbacks were that the TV did not have any Netflix or smart tv connection as well as no caption for English to watch movies.

The room was what I have reserved. Wide enough at the corner of the hotel. Walking distance to every place I need to go. The only problem I had is the transportation to the airport. I have reserved a transportation through the hotel and they should pick up us at 5:45 AM in the morning. No body came to pick up us... We were missing our flights if I did not find a taxi in the early morning. If hotel promise us to set a paid transportation to the airport they should take care of it. I should not try to find a taxi at the last moment to catch my flight...

Great location, relatively clean. Staffs are nice. Very noisy at night. Breakfast is really continental, nothing tasty.

It was all fine. Our room was spacious, had lot of blankets and a heater. The bathroom was big, with bathtub, hairdryer and hot water. Perfect location! The tours to Titicaca offered by the hotel were much more expensive than the normal agencies.

Everything is good: big room, refrigerator, heater, great breakfast. One of the best valued hotels I’ve ever stayed. The only wish is using black out drapes to provide guests a better sleep.

It was a nice stay. The rooms had been renovated and were very nice. Everyone was so helpful. The electricity was off in the city, when we woke up in the morning and would be off for the entire day, but it wasnt their fault. They made sure we had hot water for showers and they still had a nice hot breakfast and coca tea.

We enjoyed a spacious warm room, warm beds, plenty of hot water, fridge, wall safe, TV that all worked, and location close to Plaza de Armas. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and tasty breakfast with several choices and unlimited coffee and tea at any hour quite convenient.

The Sol Plaza is a lovely little hotel, situated conveniently for the cathedral and main plaza in Puno. Our room was very spacious, clean and had plenty of bedding, so there was no fear of being cold... a heater was also provided, but we didnt need use of it during our stay. There is an extensive buffet breakfast provided, maybe my only criticism was the fruit juice was a bit watery and not the best scrambled eggs weve had in Peru, but as there is so much choice this wasnt really a problem. The hotel kindly looked after our luggage free of charge whilst we spent a night on one of the reed islands, so all in all we would gladly stay at The Sol Plaza Hotel

Top quality hotel, near main plaza. Very good condition, shower, ok breakfast. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing to complain about. Good average hotel by western parameters.

Very well managed hotel. I especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and linens, the breakfast, the availability of complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, the relaxing atmosphere and the convenient location just steps from the main square.

Good, given the city its in. Parking is available one block away. Decent hotel overall, reasonable breakfast. Helpful staff. Probably one of the best choices in Puno as it is one block downhill from the tourist-y area, with decent restaurants.

The hotel is clean, everything works well and the roon I was very confortanble and spacious.
The only thing that disappointed me is the fact that I fiegot my earphones at the room and after sending twoo e-mail to the hotel, one to the reception the to the administration, I received no answer at all.
It’s sad that such small thing could destroy the memory of a good stay in a hotel.
I am still waiting for an answer, did you find my earphones?

We had a lovely stay at Sol Plaza. We arrived early and they let us store our luggage while we headed out on a tour. The front desk clerks were very cordial and baggage handlers very helpful. The room was clean and beds comfy. Location was good and we found good restaurants nearby. We would stay there again.

Cannot fault thos hotel! Everything excellent dr start to finish!
Took night bus and arrived at 6am, they let us check in to our room straight away!! The staff are all really helpful and friendly, bed comfortable and breakfast really good!
My only very slight negative is that the shower water pressure could be better!
Would Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great hotel in good location for great restaurants and shops. Very clean. Large room. Good breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Elevator. Very comfortable. Nice bathroom. Tip for Puno: buy your Alpaca knitwear at the harbour marketplace; best prices we had found anywhere.
