Amazing sea view of the tidal pool and walls. Modern room, great bathroom and delicious range of food for breakfast. Lovely having seperate location and bars and restaurants next door! Great location and friendly staff.

This hotel was a great location to the beach. The room was bigger than we expected too. The owner was so friendly and approachable and helped us in every way. We checked in later than originally scheduled and she organized a cab for us in the morning, with a confirmation message through whatsapp. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The location of this hotel was beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, but the room was tiny, bathroom was so cramped that we could not sit on the toilet without banging our knees on the shelf under the sink. But our primary disappointment came from our treatment by the first receptionist of the hotel. We were baffled and dismayed by her inexplicable hostility from the moment we arrived. While we are grateful that she did help us get another room when my 82-year old husband could not carry the suitcases all the way up the narrow stairs to the top floor, she seemed to resent us being there. One of the other ladies was very kind, warm and welcoming and she was the best part of our stay in St. Malo. But this other woman’s hostility towards us completely ruined our entire experience in St. Malo. We could never recommend this hotel.

I had an excellent time at the Hotel. The best location in Saint Malo, beautiful corner of the old town, by the walls with the best view over the ocean, and at the main beach. The staff were the just best, welcoming, smiling and caring, always there to help and assist. It really felt like being welcomed by a family. Very nice breakfast and finally the bar was also a nice place to work.

Room was compact but had everything we could want, with a comfortable bed and all areas were very clean. Property was well situated v.close to beach and beach bar plus various restaurants and very quick walk to all main shops.

Great location right next to the old city wall and just steps from the island's best beach. If you're here in summer, definitely plan on some time at the beach. We had an upstairs room with a view of the sea, which was stunning.

Our arrival at this hotel coincided with the Easter Holiday, and as a result, we initially were not able to find parking for our stay. The management was SO helpful in letting us leave our car in their drop-off area until a parking space opened up. The room was clean and the location was perfect for anyone wanting to have easy pedestrian access to the wall around the old city. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return for a later stay.

Very well placed close to the beach. Would have been better to ask for a sea view, we didn’t. Long way up to the room, no lift. Noticed two rooms available on the ground floor. Breakfast was good. Basic buffet with fresh croissants and bread.

This hotel was truly amazing for it’s restaurant. A proper old fashioned superbly run family restaurant since 1937. The quality of this food would have impressed Elizabeth David!! I’d cross the channel to just go back and eat!!!

Welcoming family hotel. Nice clean, well equipped, rooms, although the stairs are narrow. The location is just inside the ramparts and right by the beach and close to the main shopping street. Excellent breakfasts.

Hotel was lovely the only complaint was the shower was either lukewarm or cold. The tiles needed a good clean and the service tray in the room was almost empty. The restaraunt was brilliant fantastic food well cooked and presented. St Malo is not to be missed. Hotel only 5 minutes from the ferry. .

This long-standing family-run hotel is in a great location facing directly over the St Malo city walls to the beach, but as a consequence has people passing by your window (if you have a sea view room) from early morning to late evening. This went on into the early hours on several occasions. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and our room a good size.

Average but clean and comfortable. Cleaner forgot to leave toilet paper, lucky toilet in the hall had some and we we could use that. Very hot so could do with a small fan in the room. We had a disability bathroom so would be great for anyone in wheel chair. Also our own door off the hall to outside.
