Good price and very clean and up dated. Room was very small. We were gone a lot in Kyoto so did not bother us. Know closet and hard to fit luggage, but we managed.

For convenience to the train station, this hotel is nice. Our room was non-smoking however it had been a smoking room at one point in time. The room still smelled like remnants of cigarette smoke, which was not to my liking. However, overall, our stay was very nice

The hotel is very close from the minamikusatsu station, so it was convenience for me. If I have chance to go to kusatsu city again, I want to stay there again.

Room is a typical Japanese business hotel size (a tad bit in the small side). But the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The local area is pretty quiet with a Family mart a block away. Parking is a bit of a hassle in that you have to go to the back to use a parking elevator. But for the price, definitely worth staying.

Hotel location is excellent , right next to the JR station. If you were to stay here make sure to purchase your JR pass if not, it can get expensive to get to most popular tourist location in Kyoto. Staffs was very nice and helpful. Even this is one of the older hotel, the room is very clean, room size is typical Japanese size but bigger than most Tokyo hotels. Bed is comtable, bathroom is a little small but clean. Overall, I am very happy and definitely recommending this hotel to traveler visiting Kyoto.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and covenient for the train station to Kyoto/Osaka. There are many restaurants in the area and a supermarket juwt a few steps away from the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Every thing is good except the room. It is way too small that would cause clustfolbia.

It is nice and good value, a bit far but tolerable as it is very close to Minami Kusatsu JR station.

Bought 2 nights while discount, price was reasonable. Room was neat, and it was about 2x3m big, good for one person. Staffs are nice. Number of food stalls are nearby. Bus stops around the hotel.

Overall, I am very pleased while a week stayed at the hotel during my business trip. The room was very clean but rather small with no closet.Great location, 50 meters to Minami Kusatsu train station and Only 20 minutes from Kyoto.

Good alternative to staying inside Kyoto considering prices. Two minutes from Minami Kusatsu station. Clean, standard japanese hotel room. Well functioning washing facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent hotel restaurant but with limited choices.

Nice hotel I though 'coz I like the view of the room most. Nothing bad but only the room wireless internet service. Overall it was a good hotel.

The staff was very helpful when we arrived early and asked to leave our luggage. When we arrived back later, they had already taken our bags up to our room for us! They helped us with reservations and information about temples as well, even though they weren't confident with their English. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a great mix as well.

The hotel has amazing location. 5 min walk to asakasa-mitsuke station that has 5 different lines that goes all around Tokyo. The room is regular small to Tokyo. It has wireless internet which is very important. Very recommended.
