First time to Pittsburgh area. The hotels location on the river was beautiful! The customer service was top notch and the gentleman at the front desk was superb. My mom is handicapped and he was so helpful in giving me information about things we could do. Even went as far to look u the ferry numbers! Wonderful!

No refrigerator in room front desk stated the rooms were just remodeled & the fridge wasn’t put back in yet.

My room was nice and clean, staff were kind, sometimes took a bit of waiting to get their attention. Wifi really not good, and I could not have breakfast as there was no room in the small area where they served it.

A little rough around the edges (condition of bathroom and the door to the room had to be pulled and shoved hard to open and close), but the staff were kind. The breakfast options were also limited (for me as a vegan, who's a flexible vegetarian when traveling). The bed linens and mattress were awesome. The surrounding area had lots of shops / amenities.

Room was mostly clean and comfortable. Small amount of staining in the shower. Biggest issue was the door to the bathroom was too big and made a horrible noise scraping across the floor when you tried to close it. And the door too the room was sticky as well. My husband basically had to shoulder check when we went in.

I liked the pool. The staff was always friendly and helpful. My only criticisms are the loose spout in the bathtub and the lukewarm scrambled eggs.

Shower - no soap : shampoo/ body wash was provided. The body wash gel container was broken. We booked for total 4 people, only two bath towels were provided.

The front desk was excellent (CJ). The General Manager was efficient and very responsive to requests for help. I will stay here next time I am in Pittsburgh.

Everything appeared to be broken or poorly maintained. Front doors wouldn't close fully and made squealing noises when opening. Most of the light in the pool flickered or were out completely.
Dryer for customer use was broken but still took my money. When I reported to front desk the attendant flippantly stated they knew it was out of service (no signage to indicate this however) and I should have used a different one in the staff area, though no offer of refund or attempt to help further was made.

I love the Hampton Inn and its convenence to everything is a big plus, Close to Sandcvastle and Kennywood and many restaurants. It is easy to get into the city and Oakland area. The pool is a big plus.

Staff at desk and dining area very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did not come into our room during our stay ( Thursday - Sunday). We had to call each night for towels, washcloths, toilet paper, and coffee pack. The desk staff delivered these items quickly. Also trash was never emptied

There were no cups/glasses in the room for drinking water or coffee. There were no instructions on how to operate the handicap accessible window blind opening/closing. We could hear someone in an adjoining room who had a chronic cough. Breakfast was well stocked and provided many menu options. Room and bath were larger than usual.

All Staff from front desk young ladies(evening & day), the gentleman that cooked breakfast, housekeeping
staff and the gentlemen checking the fire alarm system were very polite, nice & helpful. I will be staying here each time I visit Pittsburgh.
