Beautiful property. So quiet, relaxed, green and laid back. The rooms with a private pool and beach access were phenomenal. So private and hardly anyone around

The staff were wonderful. The food was fantastic. The resort is out of this world. It was like staying in a rain Forest with the sounds and atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the secluded feel of the resort. We had a fabulous holiday and plan to return.

Really lovely resort. The team is superb - really friendly and interested in their guests. Our villa was comfortable, clean, cool and relaxing, a great pool and steps down to our own private beach! And the kitchen offered an ever changing range of great dishes. Highly recommended.

A wonderful hidden Gem ...in a village called Kama .. villas are spacious.. and nicely decorated.. thus lack not so modern .. Very beautiful Gardens with monkeys and Lemurs .. very nice Jetty ...and nice private beach .. not ideal for swimming due to rocks in the water .. Service is impecable yet bit slow especially if rushing to a,tour .. food is high quality .. Yet needs some more diversity especially when it comes to local cuisine and sea food .deserts are not the best .. The biggiest minus is that when you are there .. you can't go around if like you were in Paje beach or elsewhere...you need to rent a car or hire a taxi which should take you to new places and you end up paying few hundreds for displacements .

Our experience was really great. The resort is amazing, it was quit and relaxing. the villa was great it has big bedroom and living room. The swimming pool was big and the privacy was good ( specially for us as Muslims ). The restaurant offers variety of good and delicious food that suits different tastes. The staff are amazing, they really did a great job, they are friendly and helpful and they try to do everything thing to make us comfortable, specially Mr. Nivot. we really felt welcomed and appreciated. We celebrated our anniversary and they setup a romantic dinner ( free of charge) that was amazing. Big thanks for Mr. Nivot for his hospitality and friendliness.

Most amazing hotel me and my partner ever have visited. We both traven a lot and this is a true gem! The straff and the hotel and surrounding was truly amazing and made our honeymoon unforgetable! Already miss it!

We loved the seting of the resort, the nature and greenery, how private but also lively it is. All staff, from reception staff to waiters, cleaners, gardeners, security, everyone was extremly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. We’d highly recomend it.

Peace, tranquility, gentle attention and care. Privacy, warm, unobtrusive service … a million miles away from noisy, brash resorts. More than we had hoped for. Zanzi was a home from home, made extra special by the warm, welcoming people who made us feel special. The privacy afforded by our Villa was perfect to rest and restore. The massage was so good we booked another for the next day. The food is exceptionally good. We’re vegetarian and never felt like we needed anything more than was offered. Good wine choices. Zanzi resort made this trip the best trip I’ve been on. I’ve traveled many places and never encountered hospitality like this. The property is breathtaking like a luxury jungle. Great food and drinks. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I didn’t even tell them it was my birthday and for dinner they planned a surprise for me. The resort was the best part of my trip to Zanzibar. Thanks Emily!

The villa and the private pool was great . The ocean view was spectacular. Food was really good.

Me and my brother had an amazing time. The hotel is beautifull, very secure, very clean, amazing bedrooms, has a píer were you can enter the ocean tô swin, the hotel had options of tours. The staff is very kind and are allways ready to help you with everything. The kitchen chef is amazing improvising new food everyday.

Zanzi Resort is a slice of paradise. The service, food, cabins, pool, nature was beyond expectations. We had lovely days at Zanzi and we will definately come back.

The Zanzi resort is gorgeous and exactly as portrayed in the pictures. Rooms wereof good quality and everything worked perfectly. The beach is on the smaller side but it is very beautiful, especially the pier during sunsets. Service was also generally very good - even when the personnel didn’t understand what we wanted the effort was there and everybody was extremely warm and friendly. We had half-board and prices for lunch/drinks were very reasonable, which is not always the case in resorts, so this was much appreciated! Spa services were also OK - although the price /quality ratio wasn’t always there. In terms of Covid-19, the hotel was clean, however during the whole stay no member of staff (nor guests) wore masks. The hotel is also suffering from some minor Covid-19 related supply chain challenges - so wine selection was quite limited. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Zanzibar!

This is a first class hotel with first class staff. Great location and staff made me feel comfortable and welcome at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

It was amazing! Real paradise! We were upgraded to a beach access villa with a pool right in the middle of the forest, seeing monkeys from now and then playing in our garden.Food was great! Service was excellent. I do recommend Zanzi resort strongly especially for honeymooners.

It is both family friendly and at the same time the atmosphere was totally suited to two of us travelling together. Very well managed.Food is always top of our priorities and this was - by far - the best food we had on the island. Highly recommend their restaurant. Incredible cocktails too, if youre so inclined! Its not often I want to revisit a foreign place but if we ever return this will be at the top of our list.

We loved our stay at Zanzi! It was small enough to feel personal and cozy, it had everything we could want! The staff from the manager on down was super helpful and accommodating. We loved the beach and our own private pool at our villa! (Thanks for the upgrade :-) We’d recommend Zanzi to any travelers that want a place to relax and be pampered!

This was an excellent property to visit. Every need was met. Our villa was amazing for our family of four. We enjoyed it so much we rarely left for sightseeing. The food was amazing (we did half board which was perfect) and it seemed limitless, particularly at breakfast. Although the gym was a little rustic and had some less common equipment my husband and I enjoyed working out nearly each day as well as the paved and unpaved trails on the property for our runs. And you really can’t beat the long pier over the gorgeous ocean. No detail is missed for this to be a special vacation with your spouse and children. We brought our kids but as this place seems straight out of a bachelor episode I can see where most leave the kids at home to enjoy the romantic setting. Our kids are older primary age and enjoyed the pool and property and all the resident animals - so really, bring the kids. Best of both worlds - romantic getaway with your spouse and amazing family trip to show your kids the world. The only improvement I can think of is the main pool needs a bit of repair to replace missing tiles. This may be purely cosmetic as we enjoyed the pool every day. Honestly this resort was better than I expected by a mile so a few missing tiles on the pool didn’t affect things at all. The front desk is tireless to make everything comfortable. I easily arranged airport transport and early arrival plus a late checkout. You can also come with zero plans and they will organize any tours.
