The check in was smooth. However, the shower was most disappointed. The water pressure is so low that you cant take a proper shower. You have to use the bidet instead. The rooms need some update n made good whatever fixtures are install. In addition the rooms rate are exorbitantly expensive for one night stay on Full Moon Party. I had to pay RM1,400.00.

Problems with air-conditions non-stop but staff were very helpful and tried to fixed them but they were too old, need to be replaced! Changed the room at the end but spent a lot of time fixing them instead of enjoying the beach!!

The hotel is good but he is very old and need a renovation. The pool is okay also the restaurant and the pub. Except the resection and the bathroom everything is okay

The images on the website are 10 years old at least. We booked a beachfront bungalow and when we arrived we quickly realized we were bait and switched. The front door lock was not secure, the front window had been replaced with a piece of wood. The AC was running but no cold air was coming out, it was effectively broken. No linens were provided. We did not feel safe at all and left immediately! Much nicer places next door that are actually taken care of for the same price if not cheaper. When confronted about the images on the website not being correct, their response in broken English was "The images are not right but it does not matter" pretty much sums up their attitude towards their property and guests. Hotels.com and the property would not issue a refund, we are now fighting the charge with our CC. DO NOT PRE-PAY!!! I have been to Koh Phangan 4 different times over the last 15 years. It is an amazing island with beautiful Thai people and culture, many other wonderful properties to stay at in Haad Rin and other parts of the island.

If you’re looking for the perfect Full Moon party place, this hotel is perfect! Besides the fact that the hotel is located on the best side of the beach in Haad Rin, the party is at your doorsteps right on the beach with the convenience of private use of toiletries right in your room. I enjoyed being able to change and rinse off all that I needed (FYI it is hot climate!) The staff was very accommodating and friendly. There is a huge morning spread for breakfast, at the corner restaurant, that is excellent for people watching (make sure to try the egg noodle soup with pork and wontons from the ladies at the stand). There is also a Seven Eleven right across from corner restaurant that sells all your necessities water, beer, snacks. I truly recommend this resort even if you are not there for the full moon party. It is not costly and worth the money you pay for.

Overall, I really enjoyed my one night stay for the Full Moon Party and woud recommend to everyone.

All very Good except some details like the roof fan could be renewed in the room and the ac was not so cold. Otherwise a great hotel for this price. Very friendly staff.

Location was amazing for full moon party. Building we stayed in was old and falling apart. Had issues with air conditioning and the safe. Beds were really uncomfortable.

Close to the beach but definitely could hear all the parties and music throughout the night. Unless you plan on partying all night this hotel is not for you

Nice place to stay close to full moon party just priced high for those two days

Strategically failed to tell us about the extra charges if there was any paint from the half moon party on the towel (even though it would wash off in the wash) and then wanted to charge us 350 baht per towel. I would highly recommend not staying here there was no one staying here when we were there and its clear to see why!!!!

Awesome location, awesome hotel!

I stayed in family suit, room 201. Ok the room was clean, view was very good, pool and ocean both views. but nothing working! Locks not working, tv not working, air conditioning is very poor performance, coffee kettle was all rusty! Pool filteration system was out of order or was very poor. Breakfast was just basic. In short not a value of money i paid at all. I paid

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sunrise Resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need, had a great view of the Full Moon beach from the balcony! Overall had an awesome time, would totally recommend it!

Beautiful beach and very relaxing place. The beach bar has very friendly staff and great food, 2 min walking distance to 7-eleven, massage places, clinic, shops, everything. Place is beautiful, but a little old and can use some love, also one bad detail at check out, we were charged for a missing water glass that was never there to begin with. Overall, very pleasant stay.

After previously staying at this resort we had high hopes for our return to Sunrise resort only to be really disappointed.One of the main reasons we chose to stay again was because of the pool and swim up bar. On our arrival, the pool was green to the point where the staff wouldn’t let you swim as it wasn’t safe. No apologies were given or discounts offered. After waiting 3 years to for a holiday this was a major bummer.The rooms were in fantastic condition and the cleaning was done really well.One last major annoying factor was that one of the bars on the beach about half a Klm away was so load the subwoofer shook the hotel and made it unbearable to sleep! While I can party with the best of them, after 3am if the club is empty and it’s keeping people in all the other hotels awake it’s bad for business.Fortunately the hotel moved us to another part of their complex which made our stay much better but they seemed pissed off that we asked, despite there being many empty rooms.Anyway I think it’s generally a great hotel it’s just the owners need to figure out what to do about noisy neighbours as it made us not want to go back to what is normally one of our favourite islands.

The hotel is by the beach located in haad rin its the central of the full moon parties. If you are going to attend to one of these parties by the beach, then this hotel is for you. If you are there to relax, dont expect a quiet time since many people hang out at balconies and chit chat. The hotel does not provide face or hair towel., when we asked face towel, the hotel staff told us to buy it from a store. The room does get cleaned whenever they want but all for done before 3pm.

Stayed here for a few nights and over the full moon. I've stayed in a couple hotels during the full moon but this one was downright dreadful for noise. The room itself was not great but manageable, staff was easy to talk to and helpful when you asked but other than that it's way overpriced for what you get.

Mostly loved staying here. There was a constant noise that the staff said is due to a water pump which was a little annoying. You could also hear a heavy bass coming from the beach while trying to sleep but this hotel is on the party beach. Lovely overall!! Great price, breakfast included, lots of shopping near by, gorgeous pool, AC, mini fridge, safe box, nice bathroom, balcony, very clean, lovely staff, and a great book about Buddhism.
