Great place to stay at Cape Cod.Friendly staff.

No one available after 8 pm to help w anything. Leave keys to door outside in mailbox - anyone could take them and walk in.

Excellent stay, we even had afternoon cookies and drinks. Staff went out if their way to please us. Landscaping was perfect as was everything else.

Wonderful place with warm saltwater pool, delicious breakfast options, and in the Admiral’s Suite the jacuzzi tub was deep and perfect and the gas fireplace warmed up the room and added to the ambience. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice inn and very nice staff

It is rare in our travels to think upon arrival-that we will return, but this is what happened at the WInstead Inn. It is a charming, lovely, well maintained and well run property. The rooms are all different. Our stay was in the Crow's Nest which was spacious w king bed and room for sofas and comfortable chairs and table, a small mini fridge, and bar area. The bathroom was large and luxurious with a great double spa shower with rain head and jets. The lobby is lovely and welcoming for the breakfast served every morning. The pool is heated and inviting and placed in a landscaped garden area. The sister property is just as nice but located right on a lovely private beach where towels, chairs and umbrellas were available to guests at both properties. The staff is very on top of things and we felt personal attention throughout our stay. Harwich is a nice town and area-away from some of the busier sections of Cape Cod but plenty of excellent restaurants. Could not have picked a better place to vacation and have a romantic place to celebrate our anniversary-and we do hope to return.

The staff was wonderful until the last day and the lady in the office was quite rude when it was time to check out.

Lacked coffee tea etc. available Throughout the day. In other words a refreshment station if some sorts.

The room was tidy, Almost zero friendliness and hospitality I have stayed in B&Bs where there is a cookie or snack in the afternoon. Immediately after breakfast there is zero to partake. Weather was dreary and our stay matched.

Excellent Property. We really enjoyed staying here albeit in the remnants of a hurricane. Great breakfast and nicely done.

The property was beautiful. There were guests staying on the floor above us who allowed their children to play in the stairway adjacent to our room. The noise was loud and distracting taking away from the beautiful peaceful property.

The only thing I did not like is that when I a bit early on the day I was checking in my room was not ready (which was understandable), they refused to allow me any access to the property so I could wait around until my room was ready. For example, I could not sit by the pool or sit on the beach. I have stayed at many hotels and inns over the years and never encountered this.The hot breakfast was delicious. The room was clean. Even though it was high season (mid-August) I got a room last minute at a significant discount by booking on Expedia.

The Winstead Inn was even better than it appeared in pictures and descriptions online. Very quaint, very well appointed and what an amazing shower! We enjoyed our stay, the kids enjoyed the pool and every employee we encountered was wonderful.

It has the best shower I’ve ever experienced in a hotel.

Really nice hotel situated very close the beach and amenities. We stayed at the unattached Port room and it was very cute and clean. Beds were pretty hard with not a lot of space and the jetted tub would probably only fit a 5’ 100lb person if youre looking to spread out and relax. Otherwise it was a nice stay and their private beach access was great.

Judy is kind and nice. Made us delicious breakfast and even upgraded our room. Cannot day enough about this place. You will not regret. Very charming place

The property manager is an excellent person making people feel comfortable during the stay at the Inn.

The hotel is very well appointed and tastefully done. The staff and owner were very welcoming -friendly and accommodating. The body /rainshower a nice surprise!

The hotel is beautiful but we had a terrible experience. There were other guests in the room above us and they had a party that lasted until 2 in the morning. When I called the manager he indicated that he was across the street and would come over to quite them down. He came over at 10 but as soon as he left it started back up and we were unable to sleep due to the carrying on.
