Friendly and helpful Staff Breakfast Very good Very Nice Place

Very nice little hotel in Freising. Close to Weihenstephan Brauerei, walking distance, 10 min. We had dinner in the Biergarten there, which was very good. The hotel has its own Biergarten, which also was very nice. We did not have dinner there, just a beer, but the food looked nice too. Freising is a perfect place, close to Munich airport, to start your journey to the south, to the Alps and further.

Staff was tremendously helpful in accommodating us when our airline flight was cancelled. Room was very nice. Restaurant was quite good too.

The Gasthof Lerner is extraordinary for a small locally owned and run hotel. The staff is over the top friendly and helpful. The restaurant has an incredible chef and staff. You can absolutely rely on this hotel. In my book, five stars!

Overall a good stay in Fresing and a very short walk to the brewery. Our room was very spacious and had new furniture and fixtures since our previous stay a few years ago. The food and service in the restaurant was great! A great value in a town near the Munich Airport.

A quiet small town German experience close to the airport. University town. Picked up our car locally so as not to battle Munich traffic. Easy drive to Dachau. Oldest brewery with great food 10 minutes walk

close to Munich Airport, excellent restaurant, best beer in town

Great location near Munich Airport and Weihenstefan Beer Garden. Early breakfast start at 6:30 helped accommodate our early flight departure. The 3 person room was roomy and perfect for our last night stay in Germany..

Close to Munich airport, very helpful staff

Our stay was pleasant except it was a hot day and there is no a/c and keeping the windows open was not a good option cause of the noice coming from the beergarden however we had a great meal there.

Friendly staff, room was small but efficient. Nice balcony. Would have liked to have a box of Kleenex in room. Restaurant on site was very helpful with good food and beer!

After traveling around Europe by car, we returned to Munich to drop off the rental car and fly home. Our main objective was to find a hotel close to the airport because the rental car had to be dropped off early the next morning and Gasthof Lerner certainly met that requirement with an easy 15 minute drive to the airport in morning traffic. We were pleasantly surprised with the ample free parking, a super helpful and friendly staff, a nice room with a balcony, free wi-fi and a good breakfast. We also found the town of Reising easy to drive around when we went out to pick up a few last minute things at Lidl and to have supper at one of the many local restaurants. If we have reason to be in the Munich area in the future, this is where we will be staying.

The room was modern and clean. The restaurant attached was a great touch. It was a good way to experience a little bit of German culture.

Stayed for 4 nights as visiting Munich and surrounding areas for work. If you intend on visiting Munich it‘s best to have a car. Hotel was fantastic. Huge room with sofa and coffee table. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. The breakfast was great and the restaurant is also excellent with delicious home made German food. Staff all very polite and happy to help with anything. Really enjoyed my stay here

Clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from the Munich Airport. Perfect for a night of rest after a long flight. Nice breakfast included.

Great hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Towels were actually fluffy and large (rare in Europe) Breakfast was excellent! Would highly recommend this hotel. Very convenient to the airport.

Although not in the centre of town this is a gem. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with any request made.

I was disappointed in the fact no tea or coffee facilities also breakfast buffet was very little selection as only one staff was in attendance which obviously was not enough to refill the buffet.Im sorry but that spoilt my experience.

Great place to stay. The hotel staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The adjoining restaurant had good authentic Bavarian drinks and food. The taxi ride to the airport in the morning was great and arranged through the hotel. I recommend it!

The hotel provides parking unlike other hotels, close proximity to public transport (across street), cost of public transport very reasonable and access to buses, underground, overland and trains to other centers including Munich, walking distance to city center, excellent restaurant, free breakfast, accommodating staff, next door bank and ATM, allows for conversion of euros to own currency for payment by credit card.
