The scenery from the room and restaurants is breathtaking. Breakfast was just ok. The pot of tea was weak and tasteless. The coffee was good though. The ocean rooms were far away from restaurants and tired. The bathroom needed updating with mould in the shower. The staff were nice enough to offer us a lift back to the room at night when it was raining but otherwise no visible shuttle service. Views are stunning yhough

We always enjoy staying at RACV resorts. We weren't so happy with RACV Cape Schanck compared to the others because they do not have big rooms in the main building that can accommodate 3 adults. We were booked in the ocean view villas which was quite far from the main building. We felt isolated.

I booked into a room that I had been in before years ago.
I asked to upgrade as wanted a different experience and they put in a 5 star room and I was so much happier. Did cost more but was happy they helped me.

Lovely resort. Clean, spacious and quiet. In room dining was divine. Great food and reasonably priced. Breakfast was okay just the usual hot food, some pastries and fruit with yoghurt. Fruit was not in season and not pleasant but otherwise was a very wonderful stay.

Noisy neighbour's kids, shouting, pounding the floors and walls kept us awake and frazzled till well after midnight. Multiple calls to reception went unanswered. Next morning front desk staff essentially shrugged it off with a meagre apology. One should expect better service from RACV, especially when paying premium prices for peak nights.

Room (Gold Villa) was not as we had come to expect for an RACV resort.
Holidayers beware, the off site Villas would better be described as caravan park type Cabins, very old and very far away from the resort. No room service available either unfortunately.

My family had the best experience here! Our room was amazing and the restaurants and pools were great but for us the team that worked in the hotel went over and beyond to make sure our stay was outstanding and they were very kind!! We will definitely be going back!
