Amazing

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby & rooms. It was nice to be comfortable & not worry about odors or nasty sheets. The variety at breakfast was quite enjoyable.

I went only for one night and the truth is that it was hot because the air in my room did not cool, there was no refrigerator or microwave, there were very few parking spaces, the best thing was the breakfast service and the very attentive staff.

What an amazing story wrapped around this 85 plus year building. When you walk in the decor and design took my wife and back to the 40s way before we were born. The staff was exceptional. Downtown Bradenton is wonderful to visit with delicious food and the water front Park stretches for mile what a wonderful walk.

An old style property has a lot of lovely decor about the place that is unique to this hotel in the Bradenton area. The breakfast is always delicious here and you're within walking distance of several bars, restaurants, and a marina.

Overall very pleasant stay for one night in the area. The town is spotless and quaint. This pottery is very conveniently located to the attractions we visited. Very close to the beautiful river walk. The bedding was a little scratchy. The room was small. We had a room with a king bed and balcony. The balcony was a nice touch, however the was not much to look at other then the street. Again, this town is immaculate so the view was still nice. Overall a good experience. Good breakfast too but a little crowded.

Property is a beautiful 1926 hotel with charm and character located in a very accessible area. Parking can be a little difficult if arriving late, but our room was gorgeous and very spacious. Because it's a business type hotel, Check In is later than usual, at least 3pm and most likely after 4pm. Make arrangements and plan ahead as you will have no room before 3pm.

Your website states this hotel has laundry services available on site. However, they do not! It made out stay a little difficult when we planned on being able to do laundry during our visit.

Poor service....I request for 2 pool towels and they send it to me and also I stay 2 days and never clean my room 322.

Was the first time in my entire life that I see one hotel that you get a check in on Friday, and they don’t cleaning rooms on Saturday, only at Sunday. As the front desk told me you have cleaning one day (the day you arrived) and after that just 2 days after, in this case, Sunday, the exactly day that I’ll get out. They have one add sticker on bathroom mirror, “cleaning the another day, for your comfort “. The another day means that you arrived at Hampton Brandeton Downtown, Friday, and you room just will be cleaning on Sunday, the exactly day to check out, at 11 am . This is bizarre, awful, shame. Don’t waste your money on this company. Another problems about this hotel: 1st: The light all night behind the windows, the hotel face light, make your room brightness all the night, horrible. 2nd: Don’t have enough parking space on the place. You need to drive around the building and search some place to park. The price for don’t have your room cleaning it’s a huge expensive. Almost a fraud

Everything was perfect

What we loved: Area. Walking distance to bars, shops, restaurants, & the marina. There is some construction in the area & some sidewalks were closed, making some destinations tricky. Parking. On- site for the most part. There's an overflow lot kind of catty corner from the hotel. Friendliness of staff. Check in was a breeze. Staff greeted you every time you passed them. Cleanliness. Hotel is well maintained. It's a very old building. They kept the charm while updating. What we didn't love: A/C in the room. It was loud and was struggling to keep up. Breakfast. Typical continental fare. Eggs were powdered, or so they tasted. Potatoes had a weird flavor. There were so many people eating that there were no seats. Overall, we'd stay here again. Love the location.

Toilets were not working in room or lobby. Room smelled of cat litter. Air did not cool correctly. Though the customer service was great!

Loved the upgraded corner room which was beautiful, clean and spacious!

Stay was fine but not what we expected. I reserved two King Suites with balcony two months prior to arrival. We received two queen rooms, no balcony for same cost. I was told " your not guaranteed which you you reserve, just a room. They did change one of the rooms to a king suite, but made it sound like they were doing us a favor. I had even paid for a room guarantee. Because I used Hotels.com, I was told I would have to contact them with any issues. They also told the hotel was booked. I took pictures early the next morning of the parking lot. It was only 1/2 filled with cars. After speaking with hotel.com, I was told an adjustment would be made to my bill. Upon checking out, I asked for the bill only to be told that because I used hotels.com to book stay, they could not furnish me with the bill receipt. Not sure if adjustment was made or not???? Nice place, close to many venues, but what's the point of selecting a room that you want if you get what they want you to have at a premium price.

We enjoyed our weekend. The hotel is in a great location next to River walk and historical buildings. We were traveling with my mom, who is in an electric wheelchair and has many needs. I emailed the hotel beforehand and explicitly mentioned the need for the pool hoist. My mom needs to swim. She cannot walk, but swimming is how she stays viable. Alas, the pool hoist was not functioning. The pull-out bed in our room was the width on a kindergarten nap mat. The staff were excellent and responsive to my concerns, but no solutions manifested. I emailed beforehand regarding our need for the pool hoist. Why didn't maintenance check its condition before our arrival? For over $300 a night, I expected more. Nothing was offered to make-up for the broken pool hoist or the horrible mattress. The roll-out mattress they brought us was not big enough to stack on top of the sofa bed mattress. The coffee and breakfast were great. The hotel is beautiful, but there was two spots of mold on the ceiling of our room.
