Villa Belverde is a hidden jewel.
Located on a large private lot with a beautiful garden, the accommodation is like an Italian art palace inside, with high ceilings, big windows, overstuffed chairs, fine sculptures, paintings and large mirrors on the wall, Persian rugs on the floor, and marble everywhere.
There is a covered veranda and a large garden in back, with a lawn, big shade trees, a trellis with roses, garden paths, geraniums, terra cotta pots and various marble statues and busts. Beyond the property a green pine covered ridge rises on the horizon. The rooms are sunny and bright, the property is secure, parking is easy, and everything is sunny and bright.

Villa Belverde is a hidden gem! It is clean, bright, and the hostess Margherita is amazing! Her recommendations for this to do in the area were incredible, and not the usual tourist traps. The breakfast each morning was just perfect!

This property was well beyond our expectations. The host Margarita was extremely welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room we had (no 4) has a huge terrace overlooking the garden and the mountains. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was lovely and free parking was a great bonus. Good connection to free WI fi too. Can't really comment on the area as we only spent one night there as a stop over. Only drawback was that it was on a busy main road.

Beautiful garden with a fountain, roses, an aviary. House and garden is filled with artwork. It was more like staying at a mansion or a museum than a hotel. There are free parking spaces, and a luxurious breakfast. The hostess, Margarita is extremely helpful. For the cost, it was one of the best values I have ever had in decades of visiting Europe. We visited the area to tour the Carrara quarries.
