Don't be fooled by the pictures. Like all advertising, they show you their best. While the lobby area is fine, once you get to your room you will be severely disappointed. The curtains are torn, the toilets have rings and stains. I don't think they know what clorox is. The rooms need serious renovation.

Wonderful hotel. The reception needs more smile-training and more staff. Our room has very obvious maintenance problems, paints and wall paper peeling off. Hotel in general in great condition. Asking for a late check out is like begging even though we were transferring to another room. Hotel is not easily seen from the main road as it is hidden behind a mini mall with the same name.

Pool area not as photographed, Room was cleaned and coffee was not refilled, and when room was purchased was supposed to have free breakfast which was told at check that it was not and needed to pay for it.

This is certainly the best hotel in Naga and it lived up to my expectations. The staff were efficient and nice and the hotel has a very worthwhile gym and large pool. The hotel transfer to and from the airport was great. One day there was an issue with the WiFi but guests were kept updated. I would definitely stay again if in Naga.

We stayed in Avenue Plaza hotel twice in the span of 10 days: The hotel’s staff from the person opening the door to the person cleaning our rooms were kind, professional and have accommodated all our needs when possible. Reservation staffs whom I’ve emailed numerous times for requests, needs chasing up since they don’t answer emails promptly, although most my requests have been met. However, they seemed to improve responding to emails afterwards. 1st: 2 nights stay: Stayed in a room facing the river. Double room was spacious, a personalised letter to welcome us was left on a table with some pili tarts and cold refreshing drinks. Bed was comfortable, pillows soft and sheets and linens were clean although the soft-furnishings like curtains were tatty and ripped. The only problem we have in this room is the noise from the neighbourhood opposite the river! The dogs were incessantly barking and the cockerels continuously crowing from very early morning. If you want a peaceful nights sleep avoid being placed near the river.

The greatest and best hotel in all of Naga

Hotel reception staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dining area rather small so a bit off-putting. Menu looked promising but we eat out for dinner; breakfast buffet a bit too Filipino oriented for a city centre hotel but what we had was OK. We only staid overnight as mid journey break so did not make use of facilities but (outdoor) pool looked quite inviting. New arrivals by car will need to look carefully for entrance; huge hotel sign but car entrance (through passageway) not clearly marked.

From Bell and counter service...at par excellence. It was the so firm bed that does not suit me, i need a more comfy one...

I always stayed at Avenue Plaza Hotet because theres no doubt on their excellent service and cleanliness. Proximity to restaurants and bars is perfext too.

My family had a wonderful stay of 14 nights. The main reason for the great experience were the staff - whether it was the concierge, check-in, security, bellboys, club reception desk, housekeeping, chef, servers, cooks or all the other unsung "heroes" ! These staff members are courteous, polite, professional, helpful, hard-working and always have a pleasant attitude in spite of difficult (and demanding) guests and situations that they may sometimes encounter. The buffet breakfast and meals in the restaurant we had were excellent. The hotel rooms are comfortable and it's by far the best place to stay in Naga. We will be back :)

It was a great experience and I will definitely return to Avenue Plaza Hotel as my go to Hotel in Naga City.

Front desk should immediately respond to a guest calling for help after an accident. Hotel management should properly train the staff on how to respond in an emergency. I'll recommend this hotel to friends if the staff is properly trained in this regard. Bathrooms should have rubber mats!
