All very average

We booked a three star property and got what we expected for what we paid. It was quite handy walking distance to the railway station and to the shops as well as to visit the great tourist attractions including the Qantas Museum, Stagecoach ride and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. Altogether a great few days holiday!!

Don’t stay here. A dingy, dilapidated motel with no on site assistance. If you can’t find anywhere else to stay in Longreach, do yourself a favour and sleep in your car.

Liked nothing! Not enough time to list all - access, ,reception, staff, air conditioner!

Older style accommodation with a Keypad lock. All ground floor level. Clean & comfortable.

Staff were fantastic. Rooms & motel was very dated but bed was comfortable. Not bad value for money.

Good location close to town

Code to enter room did not work, they don't answer phones after.hours. Spider webs in room, strange smell in room. Overpriced.

Terrible. No hot water and cockroaches everywhere.

There are no meals available at the motel no crockery or cutlery should you order a take away meal

Out side area needs cleaning.

3rd time here but will be last; room had a lot of bugs and bug/rodent poo throughout bathroom, shower still had used soap in the bottom, woke up with crickets crawling accross my face. Shame because previous experience was much better

Bed was very hard and springs were sticking into my back the mold in the bathroom would make you sick if you spent much time in there. Pity there's no where to upload photos or you could see the black mold. There was no way to contact management as there was none on site.value for money was very poor

We had a disabled room I think as it had a ramp to the door. The room was set up for 3 people but only 1 chair. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries bags or bath towels. It was until leaving we found where the cutlery and plates were… in the microwave. There is no reception on sight so if there are issues no help because you only have a contact number that is not answered or an email which is not helpful if the issue needed to be addressed that day. There are better places in town to stay.

Shuttle pick up from the train was excellent Thankyou. Service was non existent after that. Phone number listed on piece of paper at unattended reception door was never answered. Ended up getting info from local taxi service- v helpful locals in Longreach! Accomodation itself is old and tired and needs a major revamp. Location is fine for walking to local pubs for dinner.

Clean and tidy.

I’m not sure what the go now, no servicing the hotel room, I’m ok with no reception but at least change the towels and replenish the coffee, biscuits, shampoo and soap. Considering the cost I would except servicing every day.

The bed was comfy and good wifi.

It is a typical motel found in country Australia - comfortable but a little tired and worn down. Convenient to town and the museums.

It was a little dated but was perfect for our stop over. The room was clean and tidy, surprisingly quiet being so close to the main road.

Do not stay here. Did not want to honour quote even though we had email proof. Change of ownership IS NOT an excuse. Run down and not even staffed. Had to drive elsewhere for any information. Will never stay here again and will advise friends and acquaintances the same.

Arrived to strong stench of insecticide that the room had obviously been drenched in. Wounded but still alive bugs were visible. Walls had been glued up liberally, only 1 bedside 'table' attached to wall with a clock sitting on it but nowhere to plug it in. Most couple travelling these days would both have phones and or headphones and or watches to recharge. Gaps between ceiling and tops of walls. Toilet roll holder fell off wall numerous times (easy fix tho so I don't know why it hasn't been). Bed very uncomfortable, mattress old and hard. Pillows old and soft. No reception staff - you have to ring an offsite number if needed. On the upside, there's a courtesy bus that will pick you up from train or airport then the driver does the work of the non existent reception and hands out keys for rooms. Little fridge was excellent, kettle and microwave good additions. Water pressure (in discoloured old shower) was good and the aircon was welcomed and good.

Arrived and no one at office - had to get Gardner to ring up owner at another hotel to let us in and had no record of our booking - lucky we had printed our receipt- so he gave us a room - did not see anyone for 3 days - had to get our own clean towels from storeroom

A convenient overnight stop for us. The room was clean and tidy with all the basics you need for a short stay.

This was our 2nd night in Longreach. Moved out of our previous accommodation because it was unsatisfactory. Highly recommend Abajaz.

The parking was very difficult with awkward angles and we were unable to park near our room. The aircon unit was so noisy we were unable to use it. The lady who checked us in was lovely and helpful but room was tired. We were asked to walk our dishes, glasses and cutlery but the only place was the bathroom basin!

Good stay, convienient location!!
