Serene ambiance and great access to the lake.

The property is in a great location. The deluxe rooms we’re staying in were renewed and nice with a look to the lake. But one of the A/C was broken. They put a temporary replacement which made our window half open!! So bugs were everywhere. Also, it made lots of noise, when we addressed the problem to the office the receptionist she told us that she was sorry.. we said to her that they should have updated us in advance and that it shouldn’t charge us the full amount, she ignored it nicely and charged the full amount.. But rather than that the place is very nice and everything we asked for was answered with a solution and a smile.

We had an amazing time and our cottage was amazing! We’re planning a trip back in August!

We have come here before and have always loved the view of the lake and quietness of the property. We have always enjoyed our stay here and loved taking out the canoe.There are a few things that were a bit off this year and some things I wish they would change...The cabins we wish would come with a hair dryer, iron, and shampoo/conditioner. Also the beds need thicker padding as it could be me getting older but the beds are feeling harder each year.We also were not aware they moved the checkout time from 11am to 9am... there should have been a discount if their is time loss in your booking (Expedia had 11am but a piece of paper inside the cabin said 9am for sanitizing/cleaning purposes). Also there was an enormous amount of flies, this was unusual as this has not been the case before but I would think If they are making you check out 2 hours earlier than before for “cleaning” purposes that wouldn’t have happened. They also mowed the lawn while we were there and moved picnic tables and chairs onto our drive way which we had to drag off so that we could be able to park. We will always come back to visit this area but may try a different place next year.

Nice friendly place, right by the lake with beach access. Our room had been renovated only a couple of years ago and was modern, clean and spacious, but very close to the busy road and we had to keep our windows closed. Little privacy once you stepped outside, but since it’s a family oriented place, that was to be expected. The small beach is lovely and great even for non swimmers. Beach chairs, kayaks and paddle boards are all available free of charge and the staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants and stores are a few minutes away by car. I’d recommend to bring food and drinks, the small kitchenette allows for preparing simple meals. Definitely a good place if you’re looking to spend a night or two right by the lake!

Great time of year to visit Lake George! Less crowded than summer but still a lot to do. Blue Lagoon resort has been a favorite of our family for 19 years now! Great family owned and operated resort. Can’t wait to go back!

Very mediocre property. We expected much more given the 8.8 stars. $130 for a average motel room was way too much, especially off season. No maid service. Horrible pillows. We had wine, cheese & crackers in our room before going out & couldn’t find paper towels, paper napkins, or even a tissue to use. Washcloth provided to wash dishes & 1 skimpy towel to dry. A few mums or potted plants outside would help to brighten up a dismal exterior. A little effort & attention to detail would really help this “resort.” Next time we’re staying closer to the Village where our friends got a 2 bedroom suite for the same price. Such a let down.

Well maintained and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. During off time also they have responded with text messages. Close to the lake and clean.

Great stay at the Blue Lagoon! We loved this place and will definitely be staying here again and again

No water because of we’ll issue for 10 hours. No pressure in hot water for the whole stay. No coffee Place was clean and accessible though. Beach is well maintained . Hope the issues are one off and they could have handled customers better

My boyfriend and I stayed at the cottages, very nice and clean. Close to beach, nice lake/mountain view, cozy. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was very nice and the amenities were great. The only couple of things I wasnt pleased with were, the water was turned off to the dishwasher and there were dirty dishes in it from the last people who stayed. The second night we were there, there was a bunch of people outside our cabin blasting music until after 11 and I had to call the desk. The cabin, beach, lake and general area were beautiful.
