The property was not clean. In particular the shower had black mould. There were stains on the window cills. There was a loose socket in the bedroom, But most of all the cleaning staff turned up 15 mins before we were due to check out and were rude and unpleasant. We left punctually at 11am as agreed and the cleaning staff promptly sat down and had their lunch in the apartment living room

The apartment looked good at first but reality set in very fast. The elevator was not working and we had 60 steep steps to climb with our very large luggages, which was difficult and dangerous especially since my spouse is disabled and not supposed to take stairs. It got fixed 4-5 days after we arrived and complained about it. The dishwasher and machine machine weren't working, the pans had no handle and there was no extra trash bags, no dish soap, no change of bedding. The TV was missing. The place was dirty. My kids feet were BLACK after a few hours. The microwave handle was sticky. Lots of differed maintenance and broken items. No lock on the toilet door, and one bedroom door wouldn't close in addition to being very stinky.
Otherwise it's a large place with good location for downtown shopping, train and bus access, but lots of street noise.

This is a massive apartment. The lounge is about 6m x 6m and all it has in it is a TV and a double sofa bed. Excellent kitchen facilities and comfortable table & seating for 6. Only down side is the beds - 2 double beds (1 in each bedroom) and the double sofa bed (the only sofa in the place) - we are a family of 5 so 2 of our teenagers had to share a double bed - such a shame given the massive space available. We often stay in places marketed as for more people to get the space. If this place was mine I'd add another table in the kitchen (there's plenty of room for one) and 2 more sofa beds and you could market this place as sleeping 10, making it very comfortable for 6 or 7.

My stay at Smartflats Opera was very comfortable. Definitely one of the better ones that I've been to in Liege. Very modern and clean apartment.
The soundproofing could use some work as the area is very central. When neighbours are noisy or loud revelers are outside it can be difficult to sleep.

Great place great location my only beef is that we tried to get in touch with people because we requested a rollaway bed well in advance and no one responded once. Even though we got computer automated emails asking us how are stay was. All in all a place we'd recommend

Smartflats who own this apartment are an absolute joke. We turned up in liege to find someone else already in the apartment and our booking had been cancelled without them bothering to tell us. Ended up in a rubbish hotel on the outskirts of liege which was't normally rented out as it wasn't clean and the aircon didn't work. Don't bother to reply to e mails and still no compensation 2 months later

Very clean and spacious flat in an excellent location in the centre of Liege. The only suggestion I would make is to add a couple of wardrobes / chests of drawers so that guests can hang up / store their clothing.
