The walls are thin and people played video games until midnight. Bed was terrible. Basically I had a hard time getting a good sleep. Otherwise the room was spacious with a nice view. The bathroom was very nice. I enjoyed my stay. Nine in the evening until 1AM was really hard.

Walls are paper thin can actually hear people next room over talking. Area outside of hotel dirty. Just overall extremely loud and one room people party way into night. It was ok clean inside beds were comfortable but no closet. It was really hot no ac.

I know a/c isn’t standard at the coast but it was a heat wave so we were fairly miserable. The units have a/c units installed but it seems like they just disconnected all of them when they remodeled or changed owners or whatever. I was like salt in the wound to see them there but find out they are all dead. We have small children so we can’t just leave windows open either. I just wished I would have noticed the a/c was missing from the room amenities.

This was a nice place to stay! I enjoyed the cleanliness of of the rooms but I do wish they had a ac unit OR units with two windows to create a cross breeze. Also no fan in the bathroom so it got real muggy after showers

We enjoyed our stay here. It is located right in the heart of downtown which makes it super convenient. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the friendly staff!

This place was perfect for our yearly family trip to the beach! Very clean! Let friendly hotels are always a gamble, but there was NO pet smell! Office and grounds staff were very kind and helpful. Very close to everything in town, a short walk to stores/restaurants and the beach! We will keep this one on our list of go-to spots!

We stayed in a three bedroom suite at The Coastal Inn and Suites. The bedrooms were large enough for two people and our things. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware/bakeware and we cooked several meals while we were there. All appliances worked great and the furniture was ok. Not super comfortable if you wanted to just lounge around and read for a while, but on the days we only needed to sit for a bit between other activities it was fine. When we arrived there wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom, and after a long drive having to go to the office and ask for some, was not the best start. We had the room serviced twice during our five days. Neither time was the TP restocked so we had to go back to the office to ask for more. With six adults sharing a bathroom I was really glad I had brought a box of tissues from home when I discovered we had run out during a late night trip. All in all it was a great location, close to everything and very clean!

Shocked by the recent update to this facility - was honestly skeptical that the interior images were from a different property based on the exterior appearance, but they're legit and this place is super-updated and nice! Would definitely stay again...

Everything was great! Clean, quiet, good parking.

Great option for a local soccer tournament. The room was exceptionally clean and the kitchenette was really useful. Access into the room was poor though, requiring us to walk through a rocky, unpaved area. Well-located for Long Beach and local restaurants and shops - and beach. Overall we had a good stay.

The suite was so cute. It was clean and freshly painted. And looked recently updated. It was very comfortable and charming. Just right for a coastal stay.

Location was excellent except for the road noise. Queen bed sagged.No air conditioning. Very spacious. Employees were friendly and professional. We would definitely consider staying again.

Was in a perfect location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was duck taped together, but otherwise worked good. All together a clean and peaceful stay.

Clean! And affordable

We picked the queen studio because we were visiting family in ocean park. It was convenient to the beach and our family. The bathroom was small but efficient.

We really loved this place, it felt like a small apartment versus a hotel room. It was clean, room came with a stocked kitchen, and seating just outside your room. Walls are a little thin so we heard our neighbors quite a bit. Other than that, I will plan on using them again.

Recently remodeled family suite with a full kitchen! Great location. Coffee bar in the lobby and Keurig in the room is a nice touch. We will be back!

Booked a king suite. It was spacious. Bed was comfortable if you like a softer bed. The sofa was cute. If you are taller it might be a little low to the ground but for the average human it was good. In close proximity to restaurants and beach access.

Nice room. Basic. No fresh towels until we asked 3 days into our week long stay. Never had the garbage emptied, fresh linens or bathroom cleaned t/o our stay.

Only problem was there is no place to hang clothing except on the shower curtain rod

The staff were pretty polite, the rooms were a great deal and location and were well supplied with everything we would need. I really loved how they had a code for the rooms that could be used instead of key cards as I didn’t have to mess with key cards, and it made life much easier. Would def stay there again.
