They worked hard to accommodate us needing to arrive an hour early to get ready for my niece's wedding. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean.

We loved our stay it was very easy to get to and from state fair which was why we stayed at the hotel. Rooms were very nice and clean and the people at the front desk were very helpful with our questions.

I stayed here specifically for the pool and it was closed the whole week. I also was disappointed with the breakfast, it was terrible.

Great location, decor and room. Stayed in a suite. Dishes in cupboard were not very clean. One plate had baked on cheese on it. The diishwasher had dishes in it that were half washed. Other wise the room was confortable and clean.

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel! We have 3 children, and the suit style is perfect for our family. The staff were also so friendly, even with our crazy kids!

Loved this hotel. Enough room to put up my twins 3 pack b plays in the living room. The bedroom area was the biggest room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast options were not that great. But good enough for a free breakfast. We loved it being a 8 minute walk to the gas station. So we were able to fill up on snacks without getting back in the car.

The hotel is really nice, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helped us chick in fast, no waiting. My family and I enjoyed the night.

Just a nice property at a reasonable price

Property is showing its age. My AC unit was stuck on heat. Maintenance had to repair. Fridge was not working, reset breaker. Carpet molding was loose going to bath area. Tripped on it several times. 3 day stay and hot breakfast options barely warm. Yuk, ate cold cereal and Mcdonalds for breakfast.
Hilton, you csn do better than this.
Cant wait for next trip to Ankeny, New Springhill suites just opened. I will be staying there.

I have stayed here several times. Never have I been disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. It is like being at home away from home.

Very clean property, quiet, near restaurants. Only issue was the the TV signal was not working, kept going out through out the stay. Will return.

The refrigerator in the Suite was very dirty inside and out.
The Saturday morning breakfast buffet was very disappointing. The egss were out an hour before the closing time of the buffet. Plastic silverware and paper cups were provided.
There was no housekeeping services in our room on our stayover night. None, no clean towels provided.

The property was great other than the fact that they have gotten rid of the hot tub. They still had a pool that the kids enjoyed.

At check in we were informed that the pool was "broken." Well, that's just great with 2 kids that have their heart set on swimming, and a 2 night nonrefundable stay booked for almost $500. Oh and "Its Friday night so the GM wont be back until Monday." Ok, so the solution given was to walk across the road to the neighboring hotel to the tiny, dirty pool that now has twice the amount of people as it would have had.
The room was nice, not overly clean, but not filthy. 3 out of 4 ice machines were not working. The celing fan was going to detach from the ceiling if we ran it on high. We didn't get to try the breakfast as we had to leave before it started at 6:30 both days.

The employee of the hotel was great! They are very nice and friendly but the hotel itself is dirty and not taken care. That’s too bad. When we arrived about 4 pm the room not ready, so we had to wait, and the internet was horrible, it kept on and off until the next day. The shower curtain in the bathroom need to wash or change badly. Some mold in the sink area. I hate to say these but i have to tell the truth. Maybe need some remodeling to fresh it up, just suggestions!

Decent little spot. A lot was unfinished. Room was spacious, but they never came to give us new towels and had a few significant spots in the bathroom that needed cleaned

4 day stay. Noticed Drain in shower and sink clogged on 1st day RM 105. Told front desk of issue, never fixed. Trash everywhere in halls and outside entry door. Pizza box on ground for 2 days. I finally put it in trash.
Way below industry standard for this brand. Will look for other lodging on next trip to Des Moines.
