Room is definitely clean but entire place smells like toilet cleaner and detergent. I think that’s very unhealthy.

I was a bit disappointed. My room was nothing like any of the photos shown to advertise the property. Location was good. Walking distance to the golf course. I got vouchers ( pay for beach access at the beach$15 per person) but there were two weddings on the beach so ?Lay my towel at the alter?? Bed was comfy enough and staff, though non existent , was there if you need them. Room 20 not good. Basic. Very basic. Motel 6 like.

Nice and cozy. Close to most places and within walking distance

This was a fantastic stay!! Everything was in walking distance. The lake, casinos, shopping, heavenly village and dining were all a short 7-11 minute walk. If you don’t want to walk there are plenty of electric scooters to take! The location of this property could not be any better!! The only thing that I wish would have been better is the internet and the ease of getting towels. There’s literally no one here to pop by and give you towels or more cups or really anything you need. The only other thing that we didn’t enjoy was the internet. It’s spotty at best. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and we would totally stay here again!!

Good location. The room is comfortable and the size is good. There's no room service (not even to take out the trash ) and no reception. So if you arrive early, it's not possible to store your luggage. The social areas could be cleaner.

The Jeffery was clearly renovated, clean, and had good communication. Location was convenient to lake beach and shopping.

Room was very clean and spacious, however the walls were paper thin and neighbors above and on every side meant this wasn't quiet. The family in the adjoining room had kids that kept bouncing balls, an ongoing thudding noise amplified around the building like a drum. Lots of choice for close by resteraunts and plenty of stuff to do around the lake

The room was great, short walk to the beach you did have to pay to use the beach but hotel gave you a 1/2 off coupon still cost 15 dollars a day but close proximity to restaurants and shops all in all I would definitely stay again

Smal but beautiful place. About a 10 minute walk to the casinos, main drag not too far. Lots to eat and shop at. The place is clean, and very quiet. Definitely recommend staying here.

The "so call automated check-in" is terrible. Difficult to rate any staff as they are just ghosts... The room was okay while many surprising things, no tissues, no body soap in the shower (but one shampoo and "two oconditionners" and more... Expedia is very wrong at describing that like an "Hotel" is barely a motel with nobody on duty to save money. I have been client of Expedia since years, but I am seriously considering to discard Expedia because of misleading property information now...Too bad the Expedia rating is diving...

Great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe! Within walking distance to several restaurants. Bath towels could be bigger. Liked how they had paper towels and paper plates for takeout and leftovers.

We had a great stay at the Jeffery Hotel. It’s within walking distance to everything. It was very clean and the beds and pillows were amazing. That’s huge for us. The customer service was unbeatable. We will definitely stay there again.

This is a glorified motel, not a hotel! It’s nice enough for what it is, and the price I paid, but don‘t expect a hotel. No staff on site!! It’s all apps and texts and phone calls. Location is what it is. Its ok for a night but wouldn’t stay longer.

The access to the beach is really wonderful, walking distance from the hotel. The condo was beautiful, Incredibly comfortable bed, Full kitchen, two bathrooms, two tvs. We look forward to returning here.

Maybe my favorite hotel ever all things considering. The location is perfect, it’s walkable to so many restaurants but quiet at night. The rooms were very nice, newly renovated and squeaky clean. The staff isn’t on site but very easy to reach and can be there quickly. The price was amazing. They had all the amenities and room that you need for a long weekend in Lake Tahoe.

The motel is clean and well maintained and the staff was quick to respond to questions. However, it is an older motel and there are no amenities.

The rooms are lovely and functional. It is about 0.3 miles from the casinos which means it is walkable and saves you money on parking at the casinos. Which comes out to twenty five dollars for four hours.

Room is clean, however, unbearable noise if you are downstairs. Squeaky joists and hard floor means zero soundproofing. People upstairs were stomping, laughing, playing music till 3AM. We couldn't sleep at all. There is no onsite staff, so no one responds to complaint. Afterwards, I was told there is "investigation", and no follow-up. After repeated asks, I was told "immediate corrective measures" were taken, but no details. Asking again, they told me people upstairs were blacklisted. That's ALL.

This hotel was very clean and cute. The bed was really comfortable. It had everything you’d need—kitchenette, large closet, large shower. Super close to Heavenly gondola and Harvey’s casino. Our only complaint is that the contactless process wasn’t smooth—seems like it needs some ironing out as we were given the wrong access code more than once, and received someone else’s confirmation at one point. However, the times we needed to call and speak to a human they were always quick to answer, very kind and remedied the problem right away. Very good value for your money. We will go back!

Great place for the price! Very clean with everything you need.. walls are a little thin but our neighbors were courteous and so were we. I'll stay again for sure. Super easy check in and out.

First off: I’d go back. The fancy rating is an eye catcher, but you’re not gonna be staying at the Carlyle or St. Regis. It’s a motel, but a pretty good one. It’s clean. It’s comfortable. For me it’s a decent place to stay for skiing. The downsides (probably upsides for the owners): No greeting. I saw no hotel people on site. Frankly I don’t like that, but that’s just me. No bathroom to use after my long drive. Um, guys. This is not cool. No one made up my room, despite leaving the “make up the room” card on the door. (Really guys?) Do they have rooms with bathtubs? I would love that. Mine had a shower. Still, it’s a good place once you get past the techie weirdness of how they run it. The bed was very comfortable. The thermostat did the job. Like I said, I’d come back. Just don’t expect a luxury experience.

A little bit of confusion with checking in but the staff responded very quickly to our questions via text and we even got an early check-in. Once we got into our room we were very pleased! It was cutely decorated and looked and smelled very clean. Walking distance to the casinos and restaurants. It was so nice to be able to come back to a fresh room after being in a smoky casino. We will definitely be staying here our trip to Tahoe!

This hotel is located 4 minute driving from Lake Tahoe blvd where all the shopping, casinos and dining area. Super clean and simply modern decorated rooms, but best of all very convenient!
