I got an upgrade to a family apartment on arrival and was impressed by the size of the rooms. Large enough for 3 couples and children. I didn't know it was here in the motel.

So bloody noisy! We couldn’t leave the door open to let fresh air in because we were right on the only road into & out of town; the bright street lights weren’t blocked out by the curtains because they didn’t go to the end of the windows; the fridge dropped water all day/night (despite it being on the coldest setting); it was difficult to operate the ceiling fan because the switch was broken; & although there was a kettle/toaster/microwave/bar fridge - you had to unplug the various appliances to actually use them because there was only 1 socket.
We chose this motel because it was in a great location (close to the Bowling Club and the Clarence River); the TV was large & new; & the bed was comfortable - but we didn’t sleep very well at all.

Room in a rather poor condition for the price. Shower/bathroom did not have an exhaust fan & the shower shelf was missing from the brackets.

Perfect location, close to everything, great friendly service. Good facilities , i was happy with the room but some people may find it a little dated.

Check-in staff were extremely friendly and even offered an upgrade due to availability. The bed was the most comfortable bed away from home that I've had for a while now. The property was clean, easy parking was available, and it's convenient for a short walk to the main restauarants, shops, and beaches in town.

It was perfect. As we were visiting family, we really only needed a place to base ourselves. The Sun is centrally located, clean, quiet and perfect. We will be back again.

Room with a double and two single beds was well laid out. Our family of three used the double and a single bed. It would have felt overcrowded if the three beds needed to be used. Two balconies allowed us to open doors at both ends of the room to allow lots of air in and to create a sense of spacious connection to the world outside.

Clean, comfortable and conventionally located near town centre, river and bowling club. Big plus was the pool and the undercover parking. Will probably choose to stay there again
