The property overlooks a small bay where it is deep but safe to swim. The rooms overlook this bay so it is nice and quiet to sleep. The staff were all very helpful and it seems that everyone in Croatia speaks very good English.

I always come back to this hotel, great rooms , amazing food , great service ! Only i dont like about this hotel is a pets , i dont have feeling im on clean place , and im alergic on cat and dog hair…. I couldnt sleep cause dog in room above mine was so loud…

In general, this is nice hotel, lot of potential. The view from the rooms is amazing, the rooms are small but nice, and the location is really good. However, there are so many details that are not corresponding with a 5 star hotel, or the price you pay for this stay . For example the parking: the hotel was at full capacity when we were there, so finding parking in the garage was practically impossible. This was mainly due to the fact that restaurant guests (the hotel has a fancy restaurant) were also allowed to park there. The pool of the hotel is really tiny, and in shadow as of 11am. Another very annoying thing was the fact that there are mirrors just next to the windows in the rooms. So when the sun comes out, it reflects from the mirrors so sleeping is after 7ish is not really possible. So all in all, nice, but not entirely worth the price they charge.

Top location with amazing view and very nice rooms with a view to the sea. Very small pool. Very nice restaurant that was amazing for breakfast, but only ok for dinner and lunch.

The big advantage is that the hotel has a free shuttle to the center of Opatija, so once you park you no longer have to get in the car. Now at the time of the corona Spa center is super organized so you have to make an appointment for a certain schedule in order to avoid crowd at the pool & sauna.We had dinner at their famous restaurant and the food is for every recommendation.Breakfast is one of the best we have ever had. Great selection of everything.The hotel is definitely value for money and we will definitely be back!

Excellent location, outstanding interior, great breakfast, attentive service.

Great stay, amazing service, beautiful view. But we did end up hearing a lot of "sorry we are out" - first night the wanted main course, then basically all different beers by the pool and the lunch we wanted, and finally the ordered treatment couldnt be done. But these are difficult times we know (it just became a bit of a joke).

+ direct and privat beachfront + sundeck + balcony, all have sea view, our room (4th floor no 410) had a huge balcony, bigger then most of other rooms + in walki g distance to village with lots of restaurants and nice beach front walkway + late checkout was possible + nice and friendly staff at the front desk - very disappointing service, not well trained staff, long waiting times, servers forgot several times our orders, staff is uncoordinated... overall very poor aspect for a 5 star hotel - sunchairs were reserved by guest esrly in the morning for hours without using them

The service was excellent. Everything was perfectly organized, the staff were always friendly with a smile in their eyes. Many hotels could learn from how to manage staff here. The food was also excellent ... probably the best around (and I’m used to stay at hotel). Would I go again ... definitely!!! Well done, team Navis.

Excellent little hotel right on the water. A bit away from anything else unless you are driving but if that is what you are looking for, the place is perfect. Good base for exploring the rest of Istria with a car. We arrived about 90 minutes prior to the official check-in time and had to wait for the room to be ready (right on time, and the hotel offered us a welcome drink for the waiting). Views from the hotel in one direction quite industrial/unpleasant (concrete wall with graffiti) but otherwise very nice. Breakfast was not buffet due to the corona restrictions but super tasty with plentiful choice anyway. Frankly, we expected the hotel not to be fully occupied but that was not the case, so social distancing was quite impossible - partly due to the hotel operations (tables a bit too close to each other, etc.) and partly due to people's disregard of the rules. But hopefully these concerns will not be applicable in the future seasons. We will definitely come back if near Rijeka again.

Very pleasant staff. After a 14 h trip we started right off the holidays once we got to the Navis hotel. Cozy, but modern atmosphere - perfekt to relax and calm down. Breakfast has been among the best there is. Very good kitchen!

We enjoyed the fantastic view from the room and super delicious breakfast in this amazing hotel. They even offer oyster from Ston for breakfast!! We had a great stay here.

This is a family run boutique designer hotel. It has everything you could want, but all on a smaller scale than grander, less personal, 5 stars.Highlights are the sumptuous breakfast, the views from your panorama doors and balcony in your room, the loungers and chairs on the sea terrace, and its location.Free parking, wi fi etc and a short walk to the local harbour village of Velosko if you dont fancy gourmet dining at the hotel.The designer colour pastiche may not appeal to all but it certainly gives it a USP.We loved it.

Excellent hotel. Enjoyed the perfect view and everything else there. The location is also very nice, near to the best restaurant in that area - Valle Losca. Going to come back there next year.

The property, rooms and facilities are amazing. Wonderful design and details. The service was odd and uneven. Particularly weird was the dinner, where they brought me several things I didn’t order. In the US this happens at nice restaurants and they are surprises, always complimentary, but I was charged for them here. When I asked the staff, she said - “that’s how it is in fine dining.” Not a response focused on making the customer feel comfortable. I would expect much better from a very pricey dinner - $80 for one drink plus one appetizer and the two small items they brought without asking.

Lovely hotel...beautiful and elegant. Our room had a wonderful ocean view. Staff is courteous, professional and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink on their ocean view terrace. A bottle of chilled sparkling wine and fresh fruit had been placed in our room. Very relaxing and comfortable furniture. Loved the spa with sauna facilities. Breakfast was a fantastic spread with gracious wait staff. Highly recommend !
