It is a quaint older motel. The views of the channel are nice and a walkway along the channel leads to downtown shopping and eats - including a brewery

Retro looking motel on the Manistee river. Simple but clean. Comfortable beds, larger refrigerator than most hotels, plenty of storage space in dresser and under the beds. Glider chairs and picnic table facing the river for nice view of the sunset. Close to downtown and Lake Michigan.

Nice Motel, great location, great price, Awesome staff….
Owner is making a lot of upgrades to bring this property back to what it once was.( 1st motel in Manistee) . Definitely will be returning next summer.

The location is perfect, close enough to downtown but a quiet location. Our room didn't have a walk out so we didn't have anywhere to sit outside. Rooms with walkouts have chairs, picnic tables and a bbq. Even in the room there was no where to sit but the bed. A chair or two would've been great. There was air conditioning, a fridge and microwave and the room was a good size.

The location was great.. enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the boats on the river. The gliding chairs were awesome! You can walk the river walk to town or the beach. The bathroom needs a lot of TLC…we were told that in the off season months they are going to update and redo electrical… Cassandra (?) at the front desk was awesome…

The room decor was appealing to us, turquoise and white, pictures of beaches. Room was small, 2 beds that were firm but comfortable, dresser, small fridge. Adequate for the time spent in the room. Only complaint is very little water pressure in the shower ( room 120) staff very pleasant and friendly, made good recommendations for dinner.

The room was clean but not convenient. There were no towel racks in the bathroom, no hair dryer in the room (had to go to office to get one), no in room coffee, no chair of any kind. The staff is great.

My wife thought it was retro cute. Very clean. Staff was great. Its in a quiet location on the river. Riverwalk trail runs by it, you can easily walk to the beach. Beds were firm but comfy. Has a pool that looked good. Accepts dogs for a reasonable charge.

We did have to wait to check in. But otherwise service was great. Room have a very strong odor of "cleaner" where i had to open the slider and turn the fan on the whole time.

We checked in and the room had no screens for the windows, toilet was running all the time, no ac, holes in the walls by the tv and in the bathroom, the front of the building looked ok but the side and the back was terrible, I would never stay there again. All these items can be seen by any one with eyes without even looking for bad things. Theres no way people who own and run it didn’t know of these issues but did nothing to fix it.

Perfect little stay for a night or two in Manistee. It's a very bare bones room, but the bed was comfy and the TV nice and big -- and the location (right on the river, walking distance from downtown was perfect). Kinda thin walls, but no one was very noisy.

The motel was nice and close to shopping and dining out. The board walk is right outside by the river. Was a pleasant experience.

For the cost of renting the room, there was limited space for fishing outside the sliding doors as description stated, unless you were hiring a charter. This was the sole reason that I rented the room was so my son and I could fish outside without having to drive around.
Almost $300 for a room I feel like we could have did a lot better elsewhere I will not be renting again.
