We had the room at the top of the hotel which was up a flight of stairs after the lift got to the top. It was stunning. A small totally private rooftop patio gave us 270 degree views over the awesome scenery and the old town. A small window the other side looked down through the valley to the new town. Breathtaking! Excellent conversion of a heritage (I assume) building. Our only problem was we didn't stay long enough.

Our room was lovely, spacious, well-appointed with a lovely view. The convent is perhaps 50 yards from the plaza. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful.

Great hotel in a perfect location, adjoining bar/restaurant was fab. Secure parking just up the road. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the biggest and most unique rooms we've ever stayed in.

The room was fantastic. Location of hotel was perfect to explore the old town. Views from the two balconys were special. I’d definitely recommend this hotel

Not bad for just a couple of nights. The hotel is centrally located, which is a plus. However, if you're looking for comfort this is not the place. Bed/pillows are super hard. Internet didn't work well. And ac didn't cool down the room well. But overall a good place for the price.

perfect location--minutes from Plaza Mayor by walking. Hotel is old and so were the furniture and facilities but the room is relatively large. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We need to leave at 7:30 am while the breakfast starts at 8:00. The staff prepared two sandwiches with bottled orange juice and water in a bag for us to take--very nice indeed.

Hotel is well situated for a visit to the old town. I would ensure you book a room at the rear of the building, we didn't and regret it. No views and very noisy especially Saturday night.Parking is off site about a 3 minute walk very tight for a big car but typical of being in the old town.Nice bar/restaurant.

Great location. Lots of options to eat, dine. Off-site parking = very nice garage is literally less than a hundred steps away. Very convenient, considering such a historical old neighborhood.

A marvelous hotel. Great location excellent amenities just loved it. Lovely bar and restaurant. The area around is stunningly with many options for eating and drinks. The staff were better than wonderful. Ihighly recommend this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Possibly the grumpiest guy on reception I have ever encountered. Rooms are ok. Bathrooms dated. Breakfast iis pretty poor. Overall ok but I would not rush back.

Difficult access by car because of a major festival taking place. Would be hard even at best. But great location in the middle of old town. Reception great.

Precioso lugar a pocos metros de la Plaza Mayor. Rodeado de muchos restaurantes y lugares espectaculares. La habitación preciosa y muy limpia. El personal excelente! Nuestra ducha no funcionaba muy bien porque tenía mucha cal y tan pronto avisamos la cambiaron. La historia del hotel es interesantísima y mantiene todo su encanto con todas las comodidades de hoy en día!!! Cuando regrese a Cuenca, espero poder quedarnos ahí nuevamente. Gracias por una linda estancia!

No frills room. Clean, bed fairly comfortable but very hard; staff not very friendly and gave incorrect information, telling us there was no free parking, when we did find free parking at the very top of the road. Staff told us to go to parking garage, which was 66 euros per 24 hour period!

Wifi was spotty at times. Fantastic location and food. My room was comfortable but the dark brown curtains and dark green walls depressed me.

Comfortable bed and a good choice at breakfast. The local parking charges are a bit heavy - about €20 for a day. If you want to save money, parking at the bottom of the hill and taking a bus up could be an option. Only down point was the male receptionist isn’t that welcoming. The WiFi doesn’t work.

Nice hotel, but you have to pop for an upgraded room if you want a view. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, very clean. Bathroom light was on the dim side. Great location from which to explore old Cuenca. Bus stop at plaza mayor is very close to get to/from high speed rail station.

Great town and fun fiesta, Hotel good but what spoiled it was the simple fact that we were unable to get in, sometimes we were ringing and banging for ages (even tried telephoning only to get message that they were busy) once we left the hotel and let a lot of guests who were outside in! Would it not be easier to either give the guests a key or get a doorman? Disappointed but apart from that it was ok
