Our stay at Casa Della Musica was fantastic! Massimo was brilliant - helped in every way with transport, restaurants, local knowledge and just the nicest guy to have met. Would highly recommend Casa Della Musica to those travelling to Lake Como. Definitely a place we will return to.

We enjoyed the stay at Casa della Musica. The owner is very friendly and very accomodating. We went by car and that was perfect by having the opportunity to park in the house's garage (at a very small fee) and use the car for driving around Como lake. It was the perfect position for a lovely and pleasant trip in the area.

This is an amazing place. Casa della Musica is actually in a small town called Olcio, one train stop up from Mandello. It is situated not a five minute walk from the train station. The house is comfortable, modern, and clean, with every thoughtful amenity. Massimo is a delightful host. He took such good care of us throughout our stay. Breakfast every morning. Suggestions on things to do. Chatted when we wanted to chat. Left us alone in the garden when we wanted to be quiet. He is the host by which all future hosts will be judged! Just book your stay. You won’t regret it. I’m already ready to go back.

The B&B Casa Della Musica suited us very well as it is so close to the station. The owner, Massimo was great at communicating before we arrived with advice regarding transport. The place was spotless and he went above and beyond too website that we had a lovely stay.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at B&B Casa Della Musica in May 2023! We stayed in the Mozart room which was huge and had an amazing view of the lake, the bed was so comfortable too - one of the best we've ever stayed in! The best part of our stay though was the host Massimo, he was just incredible! He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing us with train tickets, giving us advice on what to do/see and even buying a special cake to help us celebrate my partner's 30th birthday :) He was always on whatsapp to help us, even when there was a landslide which affected trains he stayed in constant contact with us to make sure we got back to the B&B safely. The breakfast was super delicious and all made by Massimo himself, honestly we couldn't have asked for more! The area itself is great, really quiet and so easy to get into the more touristy areas (only 20 mins to Varenna & Massimo provides you with the tickets). There aren't many places to eat but Massimo recommended Villa Maggio (10 min walk away) where you get an amazing home-cooked meal for only 20 euros per person, definitely recommend! We hope we will be able to come back one day, thank you Massimo for everything!!

We had the best stay at casa della musica with Massimo. He was the friendliest and most accommodating host, happy to help with directions and recommendations for places to visit and eat! The room and balcony was perfect, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone. Hannah & Liam :)

Massimo, the host, is fantastic. He is very accommodating and has everything set up for travelers. All the information is translated and he will explain everything for you if you have extra questions, he went above and beyond! It was an amazing stay!

Massimo also helped us to our touring iternary of Lake Como. He was available 24 hours for our needs. I highly recommend Casa Della Musica.

We had three nights here in Casa Della Musica in the small village of Olcio on Lake Como. Massimmo was the perfect host. We had an entertaining three days. My daughter loved the piano and the pool on the sun terrace. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and a different fresh cooked style of eggs every morning. Real Italian coffee of course from the stove percolator. If you are looking for a relaxed easy getaway I can highly recommend. Very close to the small village station and on the main line to from Lecco. Massimmo will definitely look after you. Hope to be back again!

Wonderful place with a plentiful breakfast in the garden, a beautiful view over the lake and easy driving distance to Varenna and Lecco (to return the rental car). Friendly and helpful host offered lots of information for touring the surrounding area. Wifi was a bit slow at times.

Massimo was a most kind, attentive and accommodating host. He greeted me each morning with a cheery good. morning, make an excellent breakfast for me, answer any questions I had, even ordered my pizza and had it delivered my first night. My room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The environment was serene and restful. I enjoyed peaceful sleep and active days walking on safe paths to neighboring towns. One night I was relaxing on the patio and Massimo brought me a beer. So sweet. :-)

Mássimo made us feel like we were family. It was a gear location with breath taking view. We got breakfast, voice if Italian or American. I would definitely go back and stay longer!!!
