Location and view are great - relatively close to good restaurants - would love to see better grounds maintenance - more updated - it's an older hotel - but the price is on target.

The cutest villas ever. The outside common area is very well maintained and has a panoramic view of Lake Chapala. The room was very comfortable although would have preferred AC over the fan. Breakfast was so yummy! There’s very little parking and did drive around a couple times before finding the front of the hotel…that was a little confusing! Would definitely stay here again. Staff was very accommodating, letting us check in much earlier.

This quaint establishment is located right on the shores of lake Chapala within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are currently being updated one at a time so I look forward to seeing the changes on future visits. The breakfast was first rate and the staff were helpful and friendly and the room we had was cute for a short stay of a day or two. The larger villas are better suited to longer stays.

Utterly charming. Quaint and quiet. Beautiful villa. Private outdoor seating area adjacent to our room was a real bonus as the weather in Aijijic is always so pleasant. Staff was friendly and professional. This is my 5th time traveling to this area but the first time at this hotel. I will definitely be staying here for any future trips.

The owner and staff were wonderful. There is lots of defered maintenance, but it looks like they are starting to work on that.

The property has a good potential, needs to update and add new services, which I was told are in the way. The employees were friendly, specially a girl called Alexandra, she was very helpful.

Overall the place is not too bad but the sewer smell in the room (bathroom area) was awful. It was very obvious why! There is no P trap on the bathroom sink (straight connection line into wall) consequently the terrible sewer gases permeates the bathroom area. Fortunately with windows open on two sides the fresh air moved the smell from bathroom to outside. I plugged the sink drain and put a wet facecloth over the overflow drain holes which more or less controlled the stench when covered. It was different story while using sink. The breakfasts included were good. As I only stayed for two days, I did not feel it was worth trying to get resolved while there.

I was very disappointed. I will not recommend this property. There was breakfast every morning. I didn’t get offered anything to eat. Only coffee. No one spoke English but clearly someone could have helped me to eat. So I had to eat elsewhere. Staff very dismissive. Not very friendly at all. They also don’t answer the phone. When I was trying to reserve I couldn’t get through at all. No complaints about the room. Small but that was ok. It was the staff that I would never ever use again or recommend.

The rooms were clean with good beds. Other guests were very loud all night long and continued to bang on our doors. Perhaps it is better during the week. I would not stay again.We did not stay for breakfast that we included.

The pool was perfect and had warm water. The owner was very kind and also the staff vas very helpful.I would sugest to give a good unifom to the staff so they would have a very image.

Place was run down and dirty. Gate was locked at night and they did not give access key. Had to wake up porter. Breakfast was basic.

We arrived at the hotel just to find out they gave our reservation to somebody else

No hot water the first night, and extreme difficulty navigating to find the hotel that is quite secluded. ONCE you get to the hotel, the view of the lake is rewarding. Our guests had to change rooms 3X as the keys given for entrance turned out to be filled with suitcases of some other patrons.

Fui un booking de ultima hora. Llegamos a la propiedad donde se nos recibio a la brevedad. Al quere pgar, la pagina decia podia pagarse con tarjeta, lo cual no se nos permitio y pidieron fuera pagado en efectivo. El cuarto tenia amenidades basicas y agua caliente. a primera vista se miraba limpio, pero el problema fue a la mañana siguiente que amanecimos con picaduras de bichos en la cama. Al parecer habia chinches en el colchon y no nos percatamos ya que era tarde y queriamos dormir. Definitivamente no se visitara esta propiedad en el futuro.

It was good for the 2 days I stayed. Away from all the noise of the highway. But far from downtown but not bad to walk.
