Our apartment was perfect for our 5 days. Lovely balcony with great sea view! Comfortable, beachy decor added to a relaxing vibe. Close to many restaurants, a Mercado, pharmacy, easy to get taxis & tour/excursion hotel pick-ups from main street bus stop. Daily maid service. Loved every minute!

We booked this because it advertised all the facilities of tge hotel were for use for the apartments as well. As we went mid March, the hotel wasn't open so none of the facilities were open either. This was very disappointing to us as we go away to swim & sunbathe. The pools were closed & there was no sunbeds in the apartment so we had to sit on hard chairs all holiday. Nobody seemed to want to help when i complained. Also, although the apartment was good, it smelt really bad of tobacco, and being non smokers, this was off puting.

Incredible place for a staycation. I stayed for 2 weeks. The room was beautiful, comfortable, functional. Had everything I needed. Amazing location with the beach/dock and coast front and easy access to walk the cliff. Close proximity to the grocery store and some local restaurants. Clean, safe, and quiet. What a beautiful place to stay!!!!! I wish I could live here. Will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely oasis of calm- beach on the doorstep. Lovely reception and hotel area. We stayed in the apartments which are just down the street. Apartments are in good condition with great views. Breakfast was fabulous and restaurant overlooks pool and beach.

Last stop before an early flight the next morning. The apartment is a good size, but the A/C did not work very well and the pull out couch had the metal arm sticking so when you sat down you ran the risk of injury. When we went to open the door to the back patio, the door came off the hinges.

Beautiful area , great facilities and quiet , staff were helpful and very attentive . The appt was spacious , modern and very clean . Would definitely recommend Son Caliu to anyone

Thought we we try an apartment, the hotel had all the usual comforts gorgeous surroundings an excellent breakfast buffet and pool area, this did not disappoint. The staff at the hotel, nothing is to much trouble and work hard at looking after their guests. The area where the apartment is situated is on a small beach with a board walk and some restaurants which are all fabulous, loved tapas and fresh fish. So what’s not to like ? So if you want the finesse of a hotel, the apartment does not offer this, the apartment whilst it’s layout and facilities are all there, it was in need of a refresh a bit tired. Peeling paintwork, very old sink and fridge and the shower cubicle needs replacing. The view from our room, the sea and board walk. I felt disappointed at first, but soon got into my holiday and the apartment was maintained everyday with fresh towels and cleaned to a good standard. Overall had a great few days, it’s been a while since we travelled and my expectations where high, Son Caliu apartments do not match up to the hotel room standards, so if your ok with a few rough edges go for it !

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very clean, smells gorgeous and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The beachside location is to die for. This was our third visit and we'll definitely be back again

What an amazing find! Beautiful place, fabulous friendly staff. It could not of been placed in a better position. Right on the private beach and having a pool. The accommodation was everything you could need. Comfy bed and sofa, little kitchen area. Tv in bedroom and lounge. Also a balcony with a grass area. The air con was easy to use. The rooms were cleaned every day. We will be returning!

Second time here, so that says a lot. It’s a laid back atmosphere which is both friendly and professional. The location with its own pool and beach is great. You also have the beach bars and restaurants within sight of both these amenities. Staff are friendly and polite. Will go back 5⭐️

The Son Caliu “apartments” which are part of the hotel but the other side we stopped in. A group of late 30’s guys. The apartments are practically on the beach / rocks and the beach was essentially a private beach. The staff were so friendly and even allowed us to keep an apartment from check out at noon until 18.00 in line with our flight... FOC Will be returning here with my wife for sure. Palma nova / Palma / Magaluf all just a hip in the taxi away.

This was a second time we were here. Last Sept-Oct two weeks and this Sept-Oct three weeks and planning for a whole month next fall. This is a great flat, clean and with great service nearby, not a far away from Palma-Nova, but quiet and calm during the nights. Part of Hotel Son Caliu, where we had breakfast every morning and some bar activity during evenings. We can honestly recommend this for couples and families. We were there with two Chihuahuas and celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here.

Stayed in the apartment area of the hotel. All 30 apartments had a sea view, ours being within 20 metres. The small beach was fantastic and extremely well kept with a couple of beach restaurants serving delicious food. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean with maid service daily and the buffet breakfast is the best, everything you could wish for is on offer. The hotel's location is ideal with the busier nightlife of Palma nova a 10 minute stroll to the west and the fabulous harbour and high end restaurants of portals nous about a 25 minute walk to the east. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and the location is superb. Hoping to return in September.

Only complaint is the fridge which was very smelly. Lucky I had some organic essential lavender oil with me and placed some drops in a glass of water and then put the glass in the fridge. But I had to clean the shelves inside fridge to removed old stains from either milk or yoghurt which I suspect gave the foul smell. Not what you want to do upon arrival in the evening, to have to clean someone else's dirt from the fridge.

The hotel is lovely.. the building for the apartments is about 200m away. The building is pretty ugly but the apartments are excellent.. Big longer with a functional kitchen. Bathroom was modern and very clean. Bed was massive and comfortable. The apartment is front line with a very pretty beach in a lovely little cove. There is a cool beach bar next door which is pretty but very expensive! I ate at the hotel and it was fine.. As a guest of the apartments I could use the spa, gym and pool. For the money an absolute bargain

The Son Caliu resort is brilliant and the hotels facilities are fantastic. We travelled with a 14 month old toddler and you can use the pool between 8am and 2pm which is useful, although afternoon would have been better for us personally. The apartment is a good size with a master bedroom, bathroom (shower only) and kitchen/dinner/living room. There is also a sofa bed so we slept in the lounge as our daughter is a noisy sleeper!! The only downside is that the kitchen is not amazingly well equipped and doesnt have a few useful things like a collinder, cheese grater, peeler, or scissors and you need to take your own cloths, soap, oil and salt/pepper for the kitchen/bathroom but it is otherwise fine for a short family break. We would definitely return again.

Surprised that there was a charge per day for the room safe. No toiletries in bathroom.

Amazing all round

We booked this last minute and couldn't of possibly picked a better place to stay. The resort was pleasant and the hotel and spa exceptional.

Overlooking beach west facing and excellent level of ammenities. Short stay to see friends but wish we had stayed longer at the price we got from Hotels.com
