This is a comfortable and informal hotel, and our room was clean and well-equipped.

Super room ,very comfortable bed. Exceptional hospitality. The couple that run it are great He makes a mean chilli con carni and she beat me at darts !

Absolutely amazing from start too finish, couldn’t recommend this place more, the hosts couldn’t do enough for us & they were so helpful, definitely stay here again 😊

Wonderful hosts, amazing breakfasts, clean and tidy, in the centre of town and reaonsable prices. And great food at lunches and dinners - the stew is brilliant. Can't recommend it enough.

Very friendly and comfortable very clean a nice hosts and what can we say about the breakfast a full English all locally produced so fresh and kept us full all day thanks guys for a great stay.

Stayed at the Kings Arms, Holsworthy for one night. Check-in was via the public bar. The room was well maintained and very comfortable and fairly priced. They serve typical pub food in the bar. Worth staying here for the sausage at breakfast. Absolutely delicious, made by a butcher in the town!

I can heartily recommend a stay in this traditional pub/hotel. The hosts, Ashley and Jill are really friendly and attentive.Nothing is too much trouble. They have a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. The family room where we stayed was cosy and well presented.The standard of cleanliness is extremely high. The room had absolutely everything you need for a stay. Toiletries, hair drier, iron and board, a selection of teas and a tassimo coffee maker. If you have a baby, a cot and changing station, with nappy sacks, wipes and lotion was also in the room. Breakfast is provided downstairs in the pub. A full English or a modified choice from the ingredients. Just to warn you, it's a belly buster. Locally sourced from the butcher.I have to say the sausage was enormous. It is dog friendly, responsible owners are also welcome. If you fancy a bit of pampering, spray tan or a sun shower. Jill can also provide those as she is qualified in those skills, at the onsite spa/solarium. A woman of many talents. The bar serves a great selection of booze in a warm and friendly laidback atmosphere. The locals are very entertaining. Due to covid restrictions,they weren't serving lunch or dinner when we stayed. That will hopefully change when restrictions are lifted.You were able to eat take out food.They are a very covid safe and respectful establishment. Support local businesses, pop in and say hello if you are in the area. Use it as a base if you are in Devon/ North Cornwall.

Room was great, we only stayed one night but it had everything we needed and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They upgraded my room, which was very clean and tidy and had everything I needed for my stay. A nice little town and would definitely recommend The Kings Arms.

Expedia did not make it clear that breakfast was not included which made it more expensive than anticipated. Jill was very nice and the residents area was spotless and very secure. It was quite noisy with passing traffic and the pub opposite had noisy customers that woke us in th3 early hours.

The lady who looked after us couldnt have been more welcoming or helpful! The room we stayed in was on a main road, but that had no effect at all if the windows were closed. The bed wasnt the comfiest, but was absolutely fine for a couple of nights! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Publican was in no hurry to respond to our entry or accurately describe the place and time to park. We requested the family room deal and we fobbed off with single quin room. The hotel was expensive for a small market town in the middle of nowhere

Room was very well equipped lovely and clean with all the facilities . Beds a little uncomfortable and very hard . This hotel would not be good for light sleepers as the traffic noise was horrendous

A lovely place to stay, nice pub. Guests rooms were beautiful. clean and well equipped. Jill and Ashley were lovely friendly people. Breakfast we would recommend. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends. We stayed here on our way to visit Bude.
