Good property and clean rooms

Typical off the highway hotel

Where to start- two non functional lights upon entering (one had broken bulb), foul smell, smoke detector not connected to wall and completely covered with a plastic bag, a/c makes noises, fruit sticker on wall, floors are disgustingly dirty (food wrappers, large black stains, dusty), phone is broken (no one could hear me talk), crumbs in fridge door, empty tissue box. Owner changed out the bulb so he knew the room condition. It's as if they attempted repairs, but didn't clean up after.

The outside of the property looks a bit shady, it's not in the safest area of SC. The inside, however, is nice. It's clean and updated. The lady at the front desk was super sweet. We just needed a bed on our trip. For that price it was perfect.

Not so good

Literally knocked on my door talking bout room service at 9am

Easy and comfortable place for a night stay on my road trip. Although there was noise all night, and people walking around and talking loud day and night, and not the people that you want to engage with either!

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The amenities were as expected for a low budget motel. There were many dining choices in the surrounding area. Easy on/off highway. Would stay again.

The road coming into the property could use some work, but the hotel owners do not have much control over this problem.

Overall it was nice and the staff was friendly and courteous. Another inside lock would be good for safety reasons and also batteries in smoke detectors.

Property seemed okay. Looked clean but shortly after entering the room I saw something skittering across the floor. I stepped on it. It was a bedbug.

Outside needs improvement. However pool area looks very nice

Towel rack in bathroom falling down. Random drawers and lamps stored in room. Dried toothpaste on sink. Floor needs sweeping.Cigarette holes in bedspread. No nightstand.

This place was a hot mess I did not even bother to check in nor that I could have the line was out the door!

Had someone come into room at 4 am in the morning unexpected.

Terrible. Lots of questionable activity in the parking lot and rooms. Very loud yelling and speeding vehicles in the parking lot.

It was ok. Very convenient off the interstate. Property is old and needs maintenance, but it was clean. My shower curtain bar was jury rigged to stay up!

Accommodating

The hotel was run down and had very poor lighting outside which made us feel unsafe. The keys didn't work after a few swipes. The A/C was horrible and didn't blow cold. The tub in the bathroom had a major stain on the bottom and we didn't even shower. The pool was advertised on the website but when we got there to go swim there was no water in it. In the morning there was no coffee. Stay away!

The room smelled musty. The air conditioner sounded like a diesel truck. There were no bath towels.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I had three different rooms and I don’t know which one was worst. The rooms looked like they haven’t been clean in weeks, they smell horrible, half of the things didn’t work. I asked for non smoking rooms and EVERYTHING in the rooms smelled like cigarettes. The bathrooms where disgusting, in one of the rooms the toilet had poop everywhere. I seriously don’t know how is this place still in business. This shouldn’t be allow.
